Zark Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Rather they delay it than release it broken! + 9 days before my birthday Quote
Titavius Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) It was CM PUNK! Edited September 16, 2014 by Titan83 Quote
Auday Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Not a problem for me, will play the 360 version until the PS4 one comes out. Quote
Big Pete® Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) It was CM PUNK! They're proper last minute shit stains... haven't even got an trailer made yet! piss poor. Edited September 16, 2014 by Big Pete® Quote
El Buvor Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Well it's all good if they want to finish their game. I bought Smackdown VS Raw 2008 PS3 version when it was released. I felt like a huge missile was trying to explode my ass. And even more when I tried the 360 version. Quote
the King Lives Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Not a problem for me, will play the 360 version until the PS4 one comes out. Yeah I'll do the same. Hopefully they make stamina have an off button as well as that chain grappling mini game. Some matches like street fights don't need that mini game Quote
IamCrazyPT Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I had a feeling that would happen. Better for me. Now i have more time to buy my ps4 Quote

jitz Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Debating whether it's worth going back and linking to all my "they're struggling to get this game finished, it's going to get delayed" posts. ...I quickly found And no it won't mean custom soundtrack support, it means they're struggling to get a game out on time as it is that actually works. RatedRPhenom Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 does anyone know if wwe and 2k payed punk royalty or not because if they did then maybe it's so they can scan him in properly so his in-game model doesn't look different from the rest of the rosters, just my thought on the matter! fufu ÷ Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Gives me more time to save up for an Xbone I suppose... and more time to decide whether I want to buy the game. Quote
xWreckIntent Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'm happy. Gives me time to get a ps4 and more time for them update things. Hopefully to get things accurate to recent WWE TV. Quote

Well I wouldn't doubt it totally since that update for custom support comes out this month right? Quote

WWE pushed for earlier releases so that they could make more sales in time for Christmas. If anything, we've been getting these games earlier and earlier for the last 15 years. 2K need back that extra time to tidy things up. February or March next year would be considered a 'push back'. As long as we get a release this year, it's not really worth complaining about. Edited September 16, 2014 by Titan83 Quote
seanironmaiden Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Actually not too bothered by the delay. at least if it gives them time to improve shít. I have to go to New York for a tour with the Orchestra I work for so it would have been coming out while I was away. Was gona stay over in the states a while longer after my work's done but I was tempted to just come straight home to play the game ( cos I'm an obsessed loser ). At least I won't be annoyed If I'm away and it's out. that said though my pirate uncle might send me a current gen copy for my rgh-modded 360 to tide me over Quote
jitz Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 There won't be any major codes changes in the game, the extra weeks is for bug fixing and polish, it's standard practice. Any major code changes like introducing custom soundtracks has the possibility of introducing new bugs which would delay it further, so the code is locked down essentially. Quote
Fozy Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'm just assuming they need an extra month to get that WWE logo updated. Yukes making new assets? That'll take a long time! Quote

jitz Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I heard that Stone Cold Steve Austin played a preview build and said there wasn't enough moves, so 2K delayed it a couple of weeks to add in 100 new moves. Quote
Fozy Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 What a fucking asshole. Why are legends always coming in and ruining the game!? We've had enough of them these last few years with the 30 years of wrestlemania mode and the Attitude era mode! Cena's STFU is also getting reanimated to fit Stone Cold's vision, but it's not what it looks like in real life! Still though, I'll be getting this game on release day for 60 bucks, buy all the DLC and promote the fuck out of the game using YouTube! Quote
