Chillalex Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 alright I just bought my girlfriend one of these for her birthday (amongst other things, I am no miser) I don't think she wanted an iphone (if she did, collossal [sp] fail.) but I have a question how she do internet? how does the internet work on it, as in, I assume she has to set up an account to pay cash-moneys per mb loaded? Anyone know how much that is? With an iphone it is understandable, as they are bound to some sort of money-grabbing process some way or another, but an mp4 player in my experience is a pay once use free sort of thing. I assume this has changed but I can't think how. What is facebook like on them, as she is addicted to that like a monkey to cigarettes. it is a girl's nectar. Quote

Smacktalks Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I'm constantly using mine since I got it, there's way more to it than just music, videos, etc. The Internet browsing on it blows away all other mobile browsers, the only downside is if your out and dont have a wifi connection available to you, that's the only reason i'm looking to upgrade to the iPhone next month. Smacktalks Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You can connect to any open wi-fi connection or just use your home wi-fi with your username / password. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn it on for a scan of the networks. Quote
