d-Block Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I woke up this morning and the power was shut off here. That's since been taken care of and now when I try and start my computer it shows my computer is loading (by that I mean the light comes on for the power as does the "thinking" light) but I get no sound from my speakers or picture on my moniter. And before Subrick asks; Yes, they are on. Has this happened to anyone before or know how to fix this situation? I hate this laptop, the Q key is broken off for fucks sake... Quote

I have a surge protector, but I don't think they protect much when the electric company comes and shuts off the electricity. Quote
