  4. Hi, This tutorial will cover removing commentary data from character slots using wrestleminus. I have put up a tutorial on removing superstar specific commentary using the hex editing method but this can be a bit cumbersome. Its much easier with Wrestleminus. 1. What you need. Wrestleminus 2. Pac editor. First open the sound_p30.pac file in pac editor. (its best to create a working folder and place a copy of the file inside the folder) Click on MASS EXTRACT in the Pac Editor functions . (The files will be decompressed into that created folder) Navigate to the created @0BFD09BF523F7140.pac\@012C.pac folder. You will find a file 0067.dat. Open this file in wrestleminus. Click on the SOUND VIEW tab . You will see the following screenshot. The Columns you will be looking up here are CONTAINER, REF NUM and HASH BYTES. The container column contains a series of numbers from 1 to 157. Each section holds data for various audio attributes in the game. The data we will focus on for this tutorial is listed in container sections Container 128 - Commentary Data for in-game superstar slots Container 129 - Chants and Voiceover data for in-game superstar slots container 132 - Commentary Data for in-game superstar slots One other unrelated section I will cover in a separate tutorial is Container 143 - Arena Ambient Sounds. Lets look a a practical example. I want to remove the Kevin Owens reference commentary from the 454 Kevin Owens 18 slot. First scroll down to the beginning of the CONTAINER 128 section. This starts from 100. This is the entry for the Rock as the character is ch100. in this section scroll to 454 and delete the entry. in container 129 section, scroll down to 45402 and delete the entry. in the container 132 section , scroll down to 454 and delete. Save changes in wrestleminus. Inject the 0067.dat file back into the sound_p30.pac file.

  5. It looks like 2K19 is the end of the road for 2k wrestling game modding, so we might as well make the most of it. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Downloads for My Released 2K19 Mods https://mega.nz/#F!B9UGwQrJ!JDDJyeYDvb3P1bDBKyiN3w ____________________________________________________________________________________________ AEW Mods AEW Dynamite - Theme Song and Show Intro ____________________________________________________________________________________________ WCW Mods Bobby Heenan - Various Attires The Boss Bret Hart British Bulldog Bruiser Mastino Col Robert Parker Curt Hennig - Various Attires Diamond Studd Dusty Rhodes - Various Attires Greg Valentine - Various Attires Hugh G. What it does: - Changes the first three matches of the Daniel Bryan Showcase to these matches: 1. AJ Styles vs Cesaro (Summerslam '17) 2. Mr. Perfect (with Bobby Heenan) vs Dolph Ziggler (Night of Champions '10) 3. The Rock vs Shawn Michaels (Wrestlemania XXX) - Includes new splash screen, updated menu, new videos, and updated objective text. What it doesn't do (yet): - Cut scenes don't lock, so you can either skip them or they will play out but weirdly because you will have control of your character. - You can't successfully complete Mr. Perfect vs Dolph Ziggler, because the last objective requires you to do springboard to the apron move, which Mr. Perfect doesn't have equipped by default. Updating the pofo/moveset doesn't seem to change the moveset within the Showcase mode, so perhaps there's a second database of character information stored elsewhere? - Commentary still refers to original matches. Some menu renders (i.e. show and title graphics) not changed. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Huge thanks to @Fawuwu for helping to port and recolor my mods from previous years!

  6. Hey everyone! I've been working for a while on figuring out how to bring some more Create-a-Story type creative functionality to the game. Recently, I've made a lot of progress in figuring out how to make changes to the Showcase mode. This tutorial includes much more thorough info that what I'm posting here: WWE 2K19 Showcase Mode Editing Guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H2E-lytWGIM086FQRQiNrsud9ENbACUvX06Ei0aBYRQ/edit#heading=h.89w9u71m7erf Basically, it breaks down how to modify the in-game matches by changing your character, changing opponents/managers, and changing arenas. You can also change the main menu to display different text and renders. Here, I'm much more interested in talking about what DOESN'T work yet than what does. I'll update the document as more is discovered. Specifically, the area that needs the most research is anything related to triggers, objectives, cutscenes, etc. Files that need to be more thoroughly dissected: - storymode_logic.pac, storymode_qte.pac, storymode_story.pac - story_datalist.pac Other open questions: - I expect that there are similar files that guide the 2K Towers mode, but I haven’t found or attempted to dissect those yet. - Where and how are the cutscenes stored, and can they be modified to work when the match participants are changed? - Is it possible to remove triggers to the cutscenes, so that match just plays through? Can we create new objectives? - Can other things be triggered, like videos, the promo engine, etc.? - Not sure how similar/different the file structure is compared to previous games. I also created an example mod, which should be helpful is seeing how these edits work in practice. You can download that here. I'll try to keep this and the tutorial updated.

  7. Hello, After some research it seems there's no list of the 2k19 prop, a big part is the same as 2k18 but there's some new files in the prop folder. I used the list from previous edition: https://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/68361-wwe-2k18-prop-list-completed/ And i use rePack to see what is the name and the textures of each new files. Some of the name aren't meaningfull so i try to see with HxD if there are clues in the code. (If you asking why i haven't used Wrestleminus, it's because i'm unable to make work the dds.exe so i can't have preview of texture...). link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1M_RaoteHE8r8jHpw3A46ToHcZ3tqp1RjPhqG1EYJ1uY/edit?usp=sharing In yellow the 2k18 prop, in grey the 2k19. I haven't been able to understand what is some of the prop, so i have put "???". If you find i can complete the list. Hope it could be useful. Credit to @lovehateresume for the 2k18 list. Have a nice day

  8. This tutorial covers changing ambient sounds in arenas. You will notice certain arenas in the game have specific ambient sounds. NXT Arena, High School Gym Mexico Plaza Japan Hall etc. This data is stored in the 0067.dat file inside the sound_p30.pac file. (I'm not going to outline how to extract the 0067.pac file from the sound_p30.pac file using pac editor) Open the 0067.dat file in Wrestleminus and click on the SOUND VIEW tab. Scroll down to CONTAINER 143 You will see the following. We will start from the 100 entry. subtract 100 from the number gives 0. 0 is the ID for the Smackdown Arena. The Ambient sound ID is A9D28BB0. (hash bytes column) Subtract 100 from the second entry gives 1. 1 is the ID for the Raw arena. The Ambient Sound ID is A9D28BB0. (hash bytes column) You see both arenas have the same ambient sound ID 102 is NXT (102-100=2) The NXT arena has a different ambient sound. Lets look at the High School Gym . The arena ID is 304. You can look up the arena ID's in @hovathagod32 's arena thread. Add 100 to this number equals 404. We look up 404. You will see the ambient sound ID is C2A83AF1 (hash bytes column). If I wanted to remove this ambient sound, you can delete the row or copy and paste the ID for the smackdown or Raw ambient sound in its place. The last entry is 507 which is for the Raw 13-14 arena ( The arena ID is 407). You will notice the ambient sound ID is A9D28BB0 which is the same as the Smackdown Live and Raw arenas. Save after making any changes and inject back into the sound_p30.pac file.

  12. Somebody call a cardiologist, because this thread is having a Hart Attack! WCW Bret Hart Pretty straightforward port of his WCW '98 attire. Includes entrance video, moveset/pofo, entrance, and two theme songs. WCW Jim Neidhart Oddly enough his WCW jacket matches Bret's, but he only tagged with Bulldog. WCW was a strange place, more often than not. Anyways, he also has lighter hair and goatee, otherwise it's basically the same as his game default gear. Full package includes new entrance video (for him & Bulldog), moveset/pofo, entrance, and his '91 theme song (I think in '98 he used Bret's). WCW British Bulldog Probably the most aesthetically exciting of today's batch. Again, new video for him & Neidhart, updated moveset/pofo, entrance, and two variations of his '98 theme song. Whether you're in the Hart Foundation or not, you can download these from the link on the first post.

  13. @Red Rooster Thanks my man. I let the computer play, had a few glitchy moments when going over the barricade (phasing through it). The sim hasn't gone backstage during a match so I'm not sure. I've done a few backstage brawls through the menu, they've been ok. Honestly when I made it I was clueless & didn't even think about that stuff. DM me if you have noticed an arena I made that works well in all those situations, and I'll use that as a base for the new bundle. Gonna take the sound out of the transitions too. They are so FN annoying when starting a show in universe mode.
