WWE 2K25’s latest update, Patch 1.16, has landed — and it’s a big one. Weighing in at around 5.2GB on PlayStation, the patch delivers a mix of stability fixes, new content, surprise unlockables, and some unannounced additions found by the community.
Crown Jewel Arena Added for Free
One of the biggest surprises in Patch 1.16 is the addition of the fully licensed Crown Jewel arena, available to all players immediately after updating.
The arena features authentic branding for the Kingdom Arena and Riyadh Season Festival, with logos appearing across the trons, ring apron, and mat.
WrestleMania 41 Arena Support
The patch also adds support for the upcoming WrestleMania 41 arena. Bloodline Edition owners should have access to both the daytime (red and gold) and night-time (blue and purple) versions. However, there’s currently an issue where the download prompts a charge even for eligible players, so it’s best to wait for a fix.
For everyone else, the WrestleMania 41 Pack can be purchased separately and will include both arenas plus three future character additions — one new Superstar and two alternate attires for WrestleMania main eventers.

Missing Celebrity Replacement Rumours
There’s still no sign of the missing celebrity from DLC 1, but new rumours suggest they could be replaced — with Aleister Black’s name being floated.
Fueling speculation, Patch 1.16 adds a new “Aleister Black” entry in Create a Victory’s template names. While this doesn’t confirm anything, it could hint that 2K is planning to add him in the future.
For now, WWE’s official word is that the missing celebrity has been delayed and will be announced at a later date.
