WWE 2K25 Patch 1.23 – The Island Chapter 4, New Unlockables & Superstar Updates

2K has released a brand-new update for WWE 2K25, with Patch 1.23 now live across all platforms. While the official patch notes highlight stability fixes, performance improvements, and the arrival of Chapter 4 of The Island, the update also brings with it a ton of new unlockable content, arenas, and Superstar updates.

General

• New quests and rewards added

• Brand-new purchasable cosmetics available in the shops

Chapter 4 of The Island – New Unlockables

The headline addition in Patch 1.23 is Chapter 4 of The Island storyline mode, which introduces several new unlockables for players to discover.

Playable Superstars

• King Corbin – An alternate version of Baron Corbin under his “King Corbin” gimmick, complete with unique commentary, trons, and entrance music.

• 

• Roman Reigns ’19 – A younger version of Roman Reigns in tactical gear, with his classic trons and theme.

• 

Both characters can be unlocked midway through Chapter 4 during the Building an Empire quest, which transports players back to 2019 SmackDown.

New Arenas

• SmackDown 2019 (Short lived 2019 arena)

• NXT 2017 (Classic black and gold design)

Currently, these arenas remain locked to The Island experience, though they may be made available in future updates.

Attire Parts & Cosmetics

When playing through Chapter 4 of The Island players can also unlock the following CAS parts:

• Macho Man Randy Savage – SummerSlam ’91 Wedding Outfit

  • Unlockable via the Everyone Loves A Wrestling Wedding quest

  • Includes his wedding jacket, hat, and glasses

  • 

• Naomi – WrestleMania 40 Attire (Partial)

  • Unlocked by completing the Hell in the High Desert quest

  • Includes her hat and boots

  • 

• The New Day – Boots

  • Unlocks a set of colourful boots with both male and female variants

  • 

In addition, the update added:

• New masks in the creation suite and more action figure parts, available to purchase on The Island

• 

Superstar Model Update – Aleister Black

In an unannounced change, Patch 1.23 also included a new character model for Aleister Black. The new model replaces the old 2K20 version with a brand new model based on his 2025 appearance featuring an improved hairline and skin tone, a more toned body sculpt and updated tattoos.
