2K Sports has confirmed that WWE 2K25 is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this month. The game launches July 23rd and is already available to pre-order from the Nintendo eShop.
Next-Gen Version on Switch 2
This isn’t a scaled-back port — it’s the full next-gen version of WWE 2K25, including The Island and shared Community Creations with PS5 and Xbox Series.
To mark the announcement, 2K dropped a brand-new trailer showing the game in action on Nintendo’s hardware.
Physical Edition & Download Size
The trailer also appears to confirm that the physical release will be a game-key card rather than a cartridge, meaning the full game must be downloaded. The Nintendo eShop lists the download size at 73.2 GB.
First Look at Entrances
New screenshots were released alongside the trailer, showing entrances for:
-
CM Punk
-
Rhea Ripley
-
Roman Reigns
-
Jey Uso
When compared with promotional shots from PS5 and Xbox Series, the visuals look on par — though it’s still unknown if handheld mode will use adjusted graphics.
Features & Pre-Order Bonus
The Nintendo eShop listing matches the feature set of the PS5 and Xbox Series versions exactly. Despite earlier modder discoveries hinting at custom music support, there’s no mention of it in the official listing.
Pre-ordering gets you the Wyatt Sicks Pack, which includes:
-
Uncle Howdy
-
Dexter Lumis
-
Nikki Cross
-
Joe Gacy
-
Erick Rowan
Plus Island cosmetics for Uncle Howdy and Nikki Cross.
The Deadman Edition and Bloodline Edition are also available.
