WWE 2K25’s Dunk & Destruction DLC Pack is almost here, and the brand-new trailer aired during SmackDown has given us plenty to talk about — from the full look at Abyss and The Great Khali, to new weapons, more than 30 fresh moves and taunts, and even a tease for what could be a brand-new Wyatt Sicks area on The Island.
The pack launches Wednesday, June 25th, but let’s break down everything spotted in the trailer — and what’s coming alongside it.
First Look – Abyss & The Great Khali
The trailer gives us our first proper look at the last two names in the pack:
-
Abyss – Confirmed as his 2010 version, wearing black gear with a brown jacket, and carrying a chain during his entrance. While this could just be an entrance prop, there’s a chance it may appear as a usable weapon. His entrance tron appears to be styled after his TNA graphics, which raises the question — will his original TNA theme also make it in?
-
The Great Khali – A brand-new model based on his heel debut run, featuring shorter hair and updated tron graphics that match his original titantron styling.
New Weapons – Janice & More
Sharp-eyed viewers will have noticed Abyss’ infamous spiked 2x4 “Janice” appearing both in his render and in gameplay footage. In the clip, you can clearly see the nails sticking out as he strikes a downed opponent — easily making this one of the most extreme weapons we’ve seen in a WWE 2K game.
The trailer also confirms a basketball as a new interactive weapon, with Tyrese Haliburton shown dribbling it, tossing it at the camera, and throwing it towards an opponent. If it works like last year’s football, expect pass and reversal mechanics to be included.
Gameplay Highlights & New Moves
The gameplay portion features a few standout moments:
-
Abyss hitting his Black Hole Slam finisher.
-
Khali delivering the Khali Bomb (likely a new animation, also shown later with Shaq).
-
Jalen Brunson landing an Axe Kick.
-
A wild handspring-to-backflip over the top rope from Jalen.
-
Tyrese hitting a moonsault into a double foot stomp.
In total, the pack will include over 30 new moves and taunts. Even if you’re not into the new roster additions, there should be plenty of fresh animations to check out.
Tyrese Haliburton Entrance & Licensed Music
Outside the trailer, 2K also released Tyrese’s full entrance video. Along with a new entrance motion, the biggest surprise was his entrance music — 50 Cent’s “Many Men” — which 2K has officially licensed for the game.
The Island – New Unlockables & Wyatt Sicks Tease
The end of the DLC trailer teases Chapter 3 of The Island Story, featuring a new Cody Rhodes Bot as part of a Hero-HQ storyline. But the biggest surprise might be a potential Wyatt Sicks-themed area.
In teaser images, a Fiend-themed arena can be spotted, and in-game hints point to it being accessible via the locked gate in the Deadlands area. Another banner shows the Ghost of Paul Bearer alongside Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss, suggesting this could tie into the ongoing Paul Bearer storyline.
New Purchasable Content
Next week’s update is also set to expand the in-game store with branded content:
-
WWE Shop – El Grande Americano mask (possible new persona card), nWo WCW Championship, Bret Hart Signature Series title, Day One Ish sweater.
-
Mitchell & Ness – Hats themed around nWo, Razor Ramon, Stone Cold, DX.
-
Chalk Line – New apparel, including a WWE Racing jacket.
-
Mattel – Action figure parts for Elite John Cena and Trish Stratus.
-
NBA x WWE Collab – NBA-themed WWE Championships for the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks.
The Dunk & Destruction DLC Pack is shaping up to be one of the most varied drops yet, with new stars, weapons, moves, and a big Island expansion tease all hitting at once.
