Following her surprise return on SmackDown, fans are already asking whether AJ Lee will be included in WWE 2K26.
With the game still around six months away from release and AJ now officially signed with WWE, it looks almost certain she’ll be featured in the upcoming title.
The timing of her return suggests that AJ is most likely to be added as a DLC character. Historically, stars who return late in the year are held back from the base roster and instead introduced in post-launch content packs.
On the plus side, AJ’s re-debut should make the process straightforward for the developers. She returned with new gear, kept her original entrance music, and is already scheduled to wrestle at WrestlePolooza. That means the team has plenty of material to work with — the only potential delay being whether they scan her again or adapt her previous model.
If AJ does make the cut, it will mark her first appearance in the series in over a decade. Her last outing came in WWE 2K15, following earlier appearances in WWE ’13 (as a DLC character) and WWE 2K14.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, the safe bet is that AJ Lee will return in WWE 2K26, most likely as part of a DLC pack.
