Thank you for this tutorial. Just gave it a try today and was already able to create animations for some mods. Only problem is that I do neither have mudbox or 3ds max so currently working with the 30 days trial versions

@eri619 could you by chance maybe explain how to work with blender to do the animations?

If you need to rescale the objects, change the export settings in 3dsmax just before running morph targets script, this will export the animations in the scale you require.

In that way you don't need to scale each mesh individually in blender.

I'm not sure if the problem you are experiencing is due to 3dsmax 2015, can't test as I'm using 2017.

Glad to hear that you got it working.

If you are studying 3D modeling, then you are eligible for student versions of the program.

Look at the education section of the autodesk site, they have an excellent curriculum.

New Versions of x-packer and x-rey have been released which make the creation of animations and compressed PAC files much easier.

This mudbox is amazing, sculpting tools are so powerful.. The only problem i'm facing right now is that when i use the smooth brush on the mesh, it isnt working

That's what I've been saying, mudbox is extremely powerful.

You could have the size of your smooth brush set too small, check this value.

Also you can image plane your ref pic so that it overlays with your mesh. It really helps with sculpting. Just expand your perspective camera and select a reference image.

i increased the size. It never worked.
