Replacing Hair Help

Hi all. Awhile back I tried replacing Takers wm14 hair model with his wm11 hair model. Now When I tested it in game the long hair didn't show up just his hair on his texture for the head. Is it possible that I made all the hair model parts black on the alpha channel so it doesn't show up? I didn't check the alpha channel I have to find that pac file.

Thanks for the reply. I uploaded the textures to show what I did. Could you tell me where I've gone wrong? As you could see the hair parts are white but I just realized I didn't edit the alpha channel.

Ok here are the original textures. They don't match up. There the same as the original alphas. So I have to change the texture coordinates with doing uvw unwrapping in 3ds Max right? Also one part on the 98 hair texture is upside down. How would I overlay that? The same one on the 94 version is right side up. Not trying to confuse anyone lol.
