Replacing nameplates

I´m triying to add the 2003 (2k15) arenas to 2k14. Everything works fine except the nameplates and locate bik files.

I did the same as minitrons.

Get the original file, edit in rad video tool to get a smaller file.

Open the original bik file that I´m going to overwrite in hex.

Copy the edited bik file and write over the other bik.

Fill with zeroes and inject the file back to the game.

All that I get is a transparent nameplate.

I tried it with different ones, always the same.

So I want to know what I´m doing wrong.

The nameplate bik has to have an alpha channel, when you are editing it, it loses its alpha channel so the game treats the whole thing as transparent.

Have a look in my nameplate tutorial for how to make a new alpha channel (It is fucking annoying and time consuming)
