It ranks on the level of "imaginary friend," a dissociative interpersonal phenomenon that is more culturally oriented. Productivity would generally lead to the discarding of said concept. As far as a name is concerned, an easily recognizable name which is one syllable would be the best choice. Just don't become too attached to it.
