Formula for removing all brand-freeze effects on the game:

 

1. Enable up to four RAW/SmackDown NPCs, then assign all brand-frozen singles belts (champion required to be either RAW the NPCs, then re-disable said NPCs.

 

2.For the Unified Tag belts, an extra step is needed: the tag team you will assign the belts to cannot be RAW/SmackDown by default. Make the team either RAW or SmackDown, then assign them the Unified Belts. Finally, restore the new champions to their default states. This will NOT remove the belts from them (provided they are the only tag team on the stables list). Optionally, you can then "lock" them (remove them from the roster/selection screen).

 

3. As for assigning superstars as free agents, you can't do that to the entire roster, even after disabling the brand-frozen titles. The bare minimum is 2 superstars per show. I simply made my CAWs free agents, and left everyone else on RAW and SmackDown. This enables the CAWs to sort of "float" from show to show, capturing/defending/losing titles on either show.

 

4. As for assigning substitute titles, there are enough titles to fill the voids left by disabling the original titles. I use the unlockable titles as follows: Million $ = WWE title, WCW = World Heavyweight, ECW = US title, Hardcore = IC belt. I believe I'll use the World Tag titles as the substitute Unified titles (they look the closest to the current copper-toned belts...wearing giant PENNIES as tag champions...WWE must think tag teams are nearly worthless... )
