Problem Getting DLC on PSN..

Twist of Fate

Recommended Posts

did anyone else have any problems with this? I've been trying to put my CC info in so I can add a few bucks to the wallet on PSN so I can get the SVR DLC but it keeps telling my credit card information is invalid. the PSN message boards aren't worth a shit and don't seem to have any suggestions that work either....

It's got 2 pages for information. the first is card type (visa, mastercard, etc). card #. Expiration date. Security Code on the back. and the card holders name. page 2 asks for the billing information. according to the PSN message board, its been a pain in the ass for everyone, and no one has a good answer that works it seems..not even Sony. everyone says they called Sony and Sony insists its not a problem on their end.

Negative. Everything is perfectly fine on it, just used it last night...to buy a PSN card oddly enough. According to the PSN forums this is a fairly common problem and SONY takes no responsibility for it and always blames it on the users bank, when the user has been using their card without problems at other places, such as amazon.com. I did purchase a $20 PSN card, which is a bitch for a couple reasons, first being, I don't anticipate buying much DLC anytime in the near future, so I'm stuck with $10 on the card I can't spend elsewhere all because my CC wouldn't work allowing me to only spend what I needed for SVR. The other thing that blows, is that if you buy a PSN card, you get taxed twice for the DLC. You'll get taxed once for the card, then taxed again for the actual DLC you get. Stupid. Anyhow..if anyone hears of a solution to the CC problem that maybe is proven to work well, let us know...many idiots on PSN will be thrilled as well as myself.

I would just browse the PSN store because they might have cheap game downloads and possibly movies as well that you can download to the hard drive for like 2 bucks or such from what I recall from last I logged into my account. The PSN cards are always better then CC info in my opinion because you have no worry on whether the CC info is safe and secure on the PSN sites.
