SD2 LeGeNd Posted December 2, 2006 Share Posted December 2, 2006 A friend and I are discussing smackdown 2 modding when the subject match hacking comes up. I know there were alot of great match hackers in the past that did some great things for this game. I know now more then ever that even more things can be done to make this game greater, I would really like to discuss the state and return of the match hackers and hackings. Its very hard to find those old hacks which I had seen pics of, one seeming close as the Ultimate X. I know that WWF No Mercy has came a very long way since they discovered modding. I only want that and more for this game. Not only could you mod the game but you could also burn them on a disc and play them on your modded systems. I think that its the right time for the Old and New Smackdown!2 Community to return. Please take this into some consideration, and lets talk about things like what was done in the pass and what now may be possible today. Slim Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 That would be great. Seeing some of the videos of my codes from SD2 brought back memories I still have everything I need, just not the time. Nor do I think many people would be interested in using the codes. Who knows though, maybe you could get people to post in here saying they want us to make more matches for SD!2 then I guess I would be in... dont know about anyone eles though. Basically though I'm in the same boat as slim. i don't really have the time at all to sit down and mod any games, let alone ones I don't play or have an interest in. I think I can get alot of response, hopefully enough to bring you guyz back. I'll post some previews here. PS.Chillalex it would be awesome if you discovered how to crack the model, i'm sure alot of things are possible with the game through modding and hacking in general. Also for what you've done is great. How long did it take you. Not too long if I had everything I need I could prolly do 10 mods if I wanted to. I only mod on weekends. I'll say it takes about 5 or 10 minutes to do a mod like Kennedy and John Cena and Maybe a little more for Edge and MVP. What you've done so far looks good, I'll help out where I can if you let me know what it is you want me to do I really need some face mods. That would help me out alot. I've extracted the textures of the wrestlers in-game as well entrance bars to the pay per views and both raw/smackdown. If anyone is interested in what I've found let me know. I would love a tutorial on that (extracting the textures of the roster) people can call Smackdown 2 'old' all they want but bottom line, it is a classic and never gets old.
