Also if you log into Steam it will bring up a message detailing what happened, just to be on the safe side I've changed my password, hopefully this is only a minor attack.

I've changed my password just in case. Luckily my card expired last month and I havent added the new one so hopefully i'll be ok.

my mate was victim of fraud to the tune of £1222 last saturday... they caught the guy getting on a flight to portugal... he's a big steam user, wonder if its related...

Maybe though this was supposed to of happened on Sunday but you never know for certain with these things.

nah, probably coincidence then just... they guy didnt seem like a professional, left a ridiculous paper trail for the police... lucky thing too as it was his debit card that was cloned, they dont offer the same theft security as a credit card.
