What was the last game you bought and what would you rate it out of 10?

The last game I bought was Black Ops for the 360, tho I had it on the PC since last year.

I thought the single player was great, but I wasnt a huge fan of the multiplayer this year, possibly down to the maps that came with the game and the lack of smaller maps like Rust from MW2. The Zombies mode is what i've found myself playing more since getting the 360 version, so much so that i've bought a few of the map packs which I dont usually do as that's my main issue with the game, the cost of the DLC.

Overall, I'd rate it 7.5/10.

Last game I bought was a twofer. Red Dead Redemption for the PS3 and Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube, although I'd owned RE4 for the PS2 for years prior. I'd have to give RDR an 7/10 and RE4 a 9.5/10. that's one of my favorite games in history.

Well last game I bought was Gears of War but I can't really give it any kind of rating yet but the game is a lot of fun a huge improvement over Gears 2.

I did pick up Resistance 3 when that came out I would give it a solid 8.5 the campaign is awesome it has a bit of a Halo vibe about it and also God of War 3 which is jaw droppingly good it is easily a 9.5.

Just been playing some Mount and Blade Warband picked it up on the weekend sale on steam last week. Awesome game but with a high learning curve the campaign is complicated as it leaves you with no real direction it is just well do stuff. That also ended up with me and my army of five guys getting slaughted within the first 10 minutes.

The custom battle option is awesome setting up two armies of 200 hundred guys and charging in on horsebook is sweet, I havn't been playing many pc games recently but my god a high resolution will do wonders for a game even on low settings.

If you see it again on steam I highly recommend it I think I payed around £10 pounds for the full pack well worth the money. Reminds me Xbox Live and PSN should do more sales like on steam I've bought countless games of steam because they were on sale.

I don't understand why they released such shoddy ports of two of the best RE games, RE4 was perfect on Wii, this is a step back. Code Veronica is dated, but tells the best story in the series, releasing an upscaled version will do it no favours.

Last game I bought was the Resistance Dual Pack because I had never played Resistance 2 and never finished Resistance Fall of Man many many years ago. After slogging through the very mediocre Resistance FoM, I realised that all those years ago I was only 4 levels away from the end when I for some reason put it down and never came back to it.

Resistance 2 however is fucking badass, a completely different game from the first. It's a lot more colourful and epic in scale. So I'm winding my way through that campaign then I'll get Resistance 3.

As a dual pack it's probably not a great buy because Resistance Fall of Man was a PS3 launch title, and isn't worth it's place in the package. The campaign is dull and overly long, and the multiplayer servers are deserted due to newer offerings in the series and CoD. You can get a stand alone Resistance 2 for cheaper, and if you haven't played it, you probably should. The campaign levels are fewer in number, but much larger in length, scope and variety. And I even saw a few poor fools in the multiplayer too poor to fork out for Resistance 3.

Resistance 1 gets 5/10, Resistance 2 gets an 8/10. All up on the back of even just Resistance 2, the franchise is criminally overlooked in favour of Halo, CoD, Battlefield etc.

The two RE games seem like a simple cash grab by capcom, they didn't even bother adding the control scheme from RE5 at the very least. They also dropped the ball on the achievements, if you think about some of the stuff you can do in RE4 the could of created an awesome achievement list but no most of them are just tied to the story. Once I had seen some footage I saw no need in buying it again.

I picked up F1 2011 yesterday and what a game it is, the racing and the feel of the cars are phenomenal, I havn't experienced a game with this kind of driving system in place. Cars feel alive during a race you can feel the downforce or lack thereof when corning, add to that the awesome simulation aspects of tire wear and damage etc and the whole race experience feels like you are on the edge and one mistake can cost you dearly.

To truely appricate the weather effects in the game you should start out racing on a dry track then for the next race put the weather to heavy rain and everything it is drastically different. Early on in the race you are fighting for grip with cold tires on a wet track all the while surround by a pack of others cars it is simply awesome.
