Anonymous have announced an attack against Facebook set to take place on November 5th.

Apparently it's down to Facebook selling users data to foriegn countries and not actually deleting users information when they close their accounts. I wonder how this'll compare to the PSN attack.

Do they have anything to do with the PSN Attack? and they're doing.. This.. "Attack" [More like trying and failing to be cool] why? Because some cybuh bowy was mean to dem? ;-;

Get a life, anonymous. People use Facebook for good things, not to bully punks like you.

Edit: Jsut watched the Philip deFranco Show. something about.. Your info being given away or your.. Info still being there when you disable your account?

Two- Seven words.

Who. IN. The Goddamn. Gives. A. SHIT? You morons are gonna attack Facebook because of that? GROW UP.

The reasons they gave were that Facebook are apparently using companies to monitor what people are saying and those companies are the same ones employed by the government so they can spy on people and see what there up to.

While it doesnt bother me, a lot of people freak out about things like that, even if they've no reason to worry about being monitored as their doing nothing wrong.

I'm more interested in seeing if they succeed in it, especially after informing them they are gonna do it on November 5th to alert them.

Annonymous went after Sony because of them forcing users to upgrade and remove options from the PS3 that were in part reasons people bought the system in the first place.

I really hope they succeed. I've been on a Facebook boycott for God knows when. All it does is create more drama, fights, and negativity among other people because they're saying it behind a computer screen and don't have the courage to back it up in real life. It was more serene and calm from 2004 to 2008. But, popularity only brings the fiends and ghouls of the world which include immature trolls and tyrants running rampant on a beautiful creation turned into a mental asylum for teenagers where they seek refuge from their miserable lives to intrude on others'.

You don't believe me? Let's take a look at MySpace. It's the corrupt generation after us that are brainwashed by the media and like leeches suck the fun of an interactive website and soil it. Facebook was initially built for students, but the public turned it into a "social networking website" and along with it only brought millions of people for all the wrong intentions. If you wanna flirt or flaunt around publicity because all it turned into was a rodeo freak show for people to enjoy at their leisure, I suggest joining those camera based adult sites where you'd just see other men masturbating to other women-related media, kinda like the "Diva Database" of this website.

Facebook is a direct sanctuary and is prone to today's rapists, fraudulent government agents, CIA intelligence units, and all sorts of third party invasions. I support Anonymous because despite their rebellious nature, they stand up to these corporate bullies and are only bringing justice to the world by eliminating these websites people are otherwise addicted to wasting their lives away slowly posting an open book of their lives and publishing their privacy for the world to intrude upon. Although I may have not completely eliminated all Sony-related merchandise from my house, they've had substantial validation to their actions from hacking PSN.

They better fail. I have some really good friends on there I talk to. and I'm not even obsessed. Did it occur to them to hack specific accounts? No. Because they're too stupid.

That's a pretty good plan of attack for Google, I wouldnt be suprised to suddenly see it dump the invite only initiative should Facebook go down.
