Is anyone near where this is taking place in London?

I cant believe how out of control it's all got, people are reporting it's starting to spread to Birmingham and other places now.

Yep it is spreading heard some things are happening in Coventry as well, they really need to step things up I really don't think riot Police is enough. The news just reported we don't have any water canons in London

They need to take control by force or else it will just keep spreading, they have been setting fire to peoples homes and shops I'm suprised no one has been killed yet.

I am not far from the riots i mean i live in braintree essex not to far from enfield... i also come from east london canning town im the only emo from the hood... but yeah I think its to do with the goverment all this and not the shooting they pinned it on.

It seems to be spreading I've heard rumours about something going on in Newcastle but if it goes on this will start up all over, there isn't enough police to contain it, they need at least to send a meesage to the crowd that they won't get away with this. I'm all for firing rubber bults or calling in support from the army.

They are attacking bbc camera men and reporters, there is like 5 hours till sun rise, its happening in Liverpool now the shit really has hit the fan. This really gives me an un easy feeling.

They just said on the news there is stuff happening in Manchester, Birmingham is fucked 87 arrest and a Police station has been set on fire. This isn't going to stop anytime soon.

Newcastle has been fine so far, no riots here.

I've had Sky News on most of the night watching it and it's now happening in Birmingham and Liverpool but nowhere near the scale of the ones in London. It's crazy when you see all the buildings that ahve completely been burnt down. They even had a woman on that woke up to find a man in her bedroom as people have started breaking into homes in the same area.

There was one guy who's family business was founded back in the 1800's and they burnt the whole shop down. Really feel for shop owners like that who cant do anything to stop it taking place and wont have the money of the likes of Ladbrokes, McDonalds, etc. that can simply replace the shops they lose. I really dont understand why they target all these shops that have nothing to do with what they were apparently protesting in the first place.

Mmm they are sending a message man, tbh yeah I am going to say this fuck the goverment and I dont swear often (on this forum haha) it is there fault this happened apparantly they are going to rise tax cause of the damages fucking idiots. They cut back on police look at the result, they caused this it took one thing to set it off. I dont agree with this but I understand why its happened, david cameron is on holiday fucking prick.

Oh and I like how people are trying to pin point the cause of the riots on police killing a suspect gang member, or public spending cuts, or any other reason. No one seems to just be saying, maybe the youth of England is just fucked in the head.
