New Features

Wrestling News
The Wrestling News Website has now been updated. The design of the site hasnt changed too much, as a lot of the update has been to the background code. Below is a list of changes:

- Videos embedded in articles are now bigger and include video controls on rollover which were previously disabled.
- A new Facebook share button has been added alongside the Tweet button which replaces the former social links. With Facebook links now have dedicated images for each article that will appear when links are shared via Facebook.
- A sitemap has been added to the footer of the design to help expand on the main menu and make it easier to jump to certain sections.
- Videos have now been added to the main news page and category pages which automatically update to bring you the latest videos from WWE, TNA, ROH and various other stars.

Video
You can now catch up with more videos via the new video section.

Quizes
We will now be running new quizes once a week. Each quiz will have it's own leaderboard and also an overall leaderboard to keep track of the overall scores. The first new quiz you can take part in is the TNA Sacrifice Quiz, however for those of you that did not complete the 2010 Quiz of the Year, you can still do so and scores from both quizes will count towards the overall leaderboard.

iPhone App
In the coming weeks we'll be launching an App for the iPhone and iPad, you can find more information here.

Check back throughout the week as we reveal more nostalgia filled features and debut new features!

Cheers :D

Codes?
The original countdown that we had back in the day led to the reveal of a forum full of new and exclusive SD2 codes, so I wanted to look into doing something similar this year. Rather than going back to SD2, I looked into different ways of creating codes for SvR 2011 and found a way of creating the same kind of codes that were made previously, i.e. scaffold matches, stacked tables, etc.

For anyone interested in how to do it, the way I managed it was running the game on the PC via PCSX2 and using Cheat Engine to alter the memory addresses. However due to not having much experience of creating codes this way what I didnt realise was once you restart the game the memory addresses change, meaning the codes you created no longer affect the things they did previously, making it impossible to create anything to work each time you run the game. When I looked into it there is ways to stop the addresses changing which I might look into further at some point, as if it's possible to get it working then it means the old way of hacking the SD games would be born again with the addition of being able to edit textures and import older models.

This is great! But no TNA Arena hacks for SD!2? lol I'm proud to have been around and seen the amazing things you guys did with the game. I would be interested in any match hacking or exclusive move hacking guides that you may have.

There's a few small guides that you can still access on my old hacking guides website via the web archive.
