The old ezboard is just a white page since it changed to Yuku so I cant get the actual date it was opened.

The earliest post I could find on the way back machine was the second topic made and posted at 5/8/01 7:07:55 pm in the site news forum so i'm guessing it'll have been opened on 5/8/01. So that means it's 10 years on the 8th May 2011.

Maybe Slim?

Haha. I'm around. I reactivated my ezboard accounts this week too. How have you been Martin?

How do you reactivate your ezboard accounts?

I'm doing well, thanks, I'm now in my 30s, now have 3 kids, and becoming very middle aged about everything. You?

Maybe that was a bad term. I guess I meant I finally reset my password and set my secret questions.

I'm doing good man. Working at an Insurance company in North Carolina. I'm finishing up school in May, and I've bought my own place. I've been trying to get Sal to fly down and visit me. :(

Good job on your own place. Surely you don't want Sal's eyetie and dago lergies infecting your new place?

He pretended hhis name was Mike but it turned out it wasn't, he pretended he was from Florida, he tried to make a Geocities kind of site and failed, he was really fat, really sad, really odd.

So all of those years of being on SmackTalks and he just turned out to be faking the entire time? That's...yeah. I feel MSN violated.

Oddly enough, speaking of old members, I saw George floating around another board a few months ago. He still do anything around here?

His attempts to sell webspace and become a website provider were hilarious....he set up servers to do it all, had quite a good user interface, and was all going well.....until AOL found out that he was doing all this through their bandwidth with his broadband :lol

I remember that actually. He set me up some free space to use and then one day it was all just gone. So who out of the original bunch is still around/drops in time to time? I know I asked this a couple of years ago probably, but I can't for the life of me remember.

That's a damn shame. The four you probably don't even remember who I am either. :-/ I should have stayed here instead of drifting off to other lands.

I never knew that about Miker. I know he had setup some sort of hosting business but I didnt realise it was just via his ISP lol

yeah man miker, would have liked to have known the real story behind that guy, lot of odd stuff going on!
I find it weird it's soon to be ten years. I started on these sites as a kid, still in school, never imagined they'd still be around or i'd still visit sometimes.
I dont know, i just think it's weird. in a good way. I remember we always used to have mad chatter about a meet up every six months or so, but none of us would as it would just be creepy.
