Cant say I like the lack of colour in the buttons, but the D-pad is improved... which isnt really a good enough reason to buy it imo as I use it so rarely in games.

The day that we start rewarding companies for the way things always should have been is the day the Wii's Motion Plus is a best seller. We shouldn't and it isn't. The 360's pad has always been known to have a shit D-Pad and now they decide to sell a "fixed" pad with a larger price tag!? Fuck off.

Its not a larger price tag, it's just $10 more as it comes with a play & charge kit. Think before you speak.

To be honest though, I don't see what the HUGE problem is with the d-pad. Being the guy who depends on it most here, I do fine with it.
(I play SSFIV A LOT.)

Most people would already have two play and charge kits, or even one of those fast charger docks. The play and charge kit is not added value, it's to sweeten the deal for paying more money. It's a cheap item for Microsoft, with a huge profit margin when sold in a box by itself. It has no worth to you if you already have a couple.

I actually might get it. My bumper buttons are complete shit and my left thumbstick is about to fall off after 4 years of use. Plus i don't have a charger. Not a fan of the new gray buttons though.

Although add needing a bigger hard drive an a wireless adapter now I would be spending more that if I bought a new console.
