ozmodchips are the ones putting at the vids up, and they've been around for AGES, so I trust them. Ordered one, I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives late next week or early the week after.

I very rarely play my PS3 these days as I buy all the games that are out on both consoles for the 360 so if it works i'll definitley give it a go.

Did it confirm the sipping date was August 27 when you ordered it?

I have a job too, unfortunately I've got my lesser half on my back about tightening expenses so the house mortgage is more affordable. This means no video games; that's not a world I want to live in. So for a few years until I'm fully qualified, I will live the life of a pirate.

@ Strum - so how are you going to get the game files do you just rent it and then copy it to the hard drive or can you download them somewhere?

Well for now I haven't seen anything that says you can just download them, but that site won't up vids of that because it's a legit business and downloading games is piracy. So it's not ruled out. Besides the jailbreak allows all homebrew to run, they've only just developed the backup manager so far because it's new. So more apps and stuff are coming once it gets out into the wild into household devs hands. Chances are you would be able to download games and play them, if not straight away, then a little down the track.

aye man, find someone who can flash ur 360's disc drive and you can play copied "backups" you could do it yourself but it involves taking it apoart and well, unless you have the right tools and are good at getting warranty stickers off without ripping them... well worth it.

Aaaaand it's been premanently banned from sale is Australia, that was quick. There's now a cheaper way to do it though with USB development boards that aren't banned.
