Rob Van Dam: "Harmoniously, the world came together, as one, and chanted RVD Motherf$cker!"

Chris Jericho: "The beat down of RVD 20 seconds into his debut in TNA was mind boggling. I dont understand how so many talented people can be so clueless."

rvd getting beat down like that might make some people think its a shitty debut, but it served its purpose. RVD had a bigger and better crowd reaction than hogan or hardy. the win put RVD over, which was the idea, but watch the crowd and you will see everything worked even though it didnt look good. People were still cheering sting when he came out for his match, thats after he turned heel on hogan, but after he beat down RVD that crowd was hating him like he beat their mothers. Hell, even when hogan came out the crowd was still chanting RVD. by the way, how good was RVD at selling that leg injury?

With Sting turning heel and attacking Hulk as well as Abyss being brought back into the spotlight courtesy of Hulk's HoF ring, TNA's done a pretty good job of keeping Hogan as a face despite some jeering a few months ago due to the changes introduced.

Great to see Van Dam back on TV again. He even looks happy to be there.

In the long run it works well

Sting is over as a heel by beating up the top faces in the company, plus it was unexpected and seeing Sting as a bit of a cocky badass is cool.

RVD is over and now sets up a possible Sting/RVD reud also his debut was a tease most who were watching will want to see RVD in a full match next week.
