What did you think of the game? The first half was pretty bad imo.

I really dont rate Defoe as an England striker, he does well coming off the bench later on but I've never seen him have a good game when he's started.

The changes at half time made a huge difference, I thought Carrick played a load of good balls that seemed to be missing from Lampard's play and obviously Crouch and Wright-Phillips worked well together to create the goals.

For once I dont see the paper's coming out and saying England will now win the World Cup, instead it'll carry on with the fact that John Terry got booed so badly.

i didnt watch it, it was a friendly!

these 1 off friendlies are pretty pointless, cut them out, get the premiership finished a week or 2 earlier and have a few before the world cup etc and teams will gel better.

It was worth playing, it gives Capello a chance to see how well certain players play well together.

Walcott as rubbish imo, yet he seems to be back on form today for Arsenal.

some players need a bit of time to gel, and some times players take time to get used to different positions, possibly walcotts problem, and as such 1 off friendlies are cock!

I figured you'd like the friendly matches, without them you'd rarely ever see Ireland in action! :p

lol who wants to see us get beat by albania in a friendly! i'd much rather see us win a few qualifying matches against big teams, only to lose against the shit 1s and still not qualify lol
