Our IPB Blog Software has been updated to the latest version of IPB Blog.
Unfortunetly the upgrade didn't work too well with the custom skins, it's currently only working correctly on the 2 Default IPB Skins (IPB Default 2.2.0 & IB.Pro) and the latest custom skin I made today (Smack Network - Dark).

So what's new?
- New Blog list layout.
- New Default Blog design.
- Custom Skins, Members can now design their own blog using CSS (There's also free CSS templates on IPBeyond).
- Group Blogs, allowing yourself and friends to post to the same blog.
- Link your Blog to your FeedBurner account.
- Submit entries from Blog's directly to Digg, Facebook, Etc. using the links provided.

The new skin is cool one thing though the black areas on the sides it would be cool to have stuff for the league or something advertising the site on there in the style of the HD set on Raw/smackdown etc

I'm gonna be updating the background, it'll have a large bckground that fades to black as you scroll down.
That way the background can be easily updated and keep the skin fresh.
Here's an example of what I mean.
The actual background could feature promo's for the league, etc. like the Rebellion banner Joe did.

Yup,
Animated backgrounds should work aswell, the only downside is they'd take longer to load due to the size of them and how many frames they have. But most people will have fast enough broadband these days to barely notice it.

I was thinking how gamespot has there site http://uk.gamespot.com/ with the image in the background and some times animated kind of like that would be good
