In order to play Smackdown 2: Know Your Role with the codes provided here, you will first need to have the following.
An Emulator
This is the program you will need to run the game, we recommend ePSXe v1.6.0 , which I have attached to this topic.
PeC (Playstation Emulation Cheater)
This is the program that will run the codes in-game.
I have also attached a download of PeC to this topic, however you will have to login to download it.
Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role!
This can be the actual game cd which you can pick up from eBay for around £2.50, or an ISO of the game cd that you have downloaded.
Once you have all of the above, your minutes away from playing SD!2 with all of the codes contained on this forum.
First of all, install both ePSXe and PeC.
Adding Codes to PeC
To begin with, open up PeC and go to "File > User Database".
This opens up the screen below:

This is the screen in which you can add your cheat codes to PeC, ready to use in game.
To add a code, all you need to do is click on "Add Cheat", then type a name for your Cheat.
Once you have named the cheat you are adding, the input box on the right hand side allows you to enter your code. The one downside to this is that you'll have to enter the code line for line. Due to the fact that codes can range from anything from 1 to hundreds of lines of code, this can be very time consuming.
Luckily, PeC allows users to open up a database file and copy and paste codes directly into it, saving A LOT of time.
If you however are entering your code line for line, once you have finished entering your code, select the tick box next to the name of your code to enable it and click "Ok".
This will return you to the main PeC screen. From here all you need to do is click on the "Send Cheats to plugin" button and your now ready to launch ePSXe.
Before moving on to ePSXe, i'll run through how to copy and paste codes into PeC.
First go to the folder that you installed PeC to, usually C:\Program Files\psx emulation cheater.

You should see the "user.inf" file as above, all you need to do is open this with Notepad and you'll see the default Tekken code that is in there by default. All you need to do here is enter the codes in the same format.

Once you have added the code you want and saved the file, the code will be available in the user database for you to run in PeC via "File > User Database".
Setting Up ePSXe
Once you first run ePSXe you'll be greeted with the Setup Wizard, simply select the following settings.
Configuring the Bios:
If you have a PAL version of the game you can set this to "scph5502", else if your game is NTSC, set it to "scph1001".
Configuring the video:
Once you have setup your cheats and sent to the plugin, you'll have the option to select "psx emulation cheater 2.5", if this does not appear choose "Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.58".
Configuring the sound:
Here you can select any of the recommended settings, I use the "ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2." option.
Configuring the CD-Rom:
Here you can select any of the recommended settings, I use the "ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2." option.
Configuring the Pads:
This allows you to setup the controls that you want to use, if you have a PC controller plugged in, you can also use this. I find it best to use a PS2 Controller with a PSX to PC converter from eBay.
That's it, now your all ready to go.
Simply click on "File" and then if you have the game CD, choose "Run CDROM", else if your using a downloaded ISO, choose "Run ISO".
The game will now load with the codes you have selected in PeC!
If you have any problems just reply and i'll see if I can help you,
