This demo has been anticipated for a month or two and it's finally landed on the PS Store. It's a first party title along the lines of God of War. Firstly, shortest demo I've ever played, It's literally two fights aginst a group of 15 or twenty guys both times. It plays slightly different than God of War, but the difference is so slight only God of War veterans will notice the difference.
The combat is the obvious meat of the game, so borrowing God of Wars combat system can't be faulted as it's simply the best out there.
What else...she can change weapons easily mid combo with a choice of three weapons, which is actually useful, but in the demo only two of the weapons are needed. The enemy types for the flail or whatever it is aren't present in the demo.
Overall, it gives you a small taste of what to expect, which is pretty much God of War on PS3. The took 5 minuntes to complete my first time through, then 2 and a half the second play through (I never play demos twice, but it was just so short I had no idea if I missed something important). It'll be a good game on release, but it's not going to bring the world to a halt. It's a 1 gig download for 5 minutes play. You'll probably start seeing a lot of disappointment over the demo.
Oh and the special attacks in the game are cool...like in..yep God of War. They're less brutal, but they're creative and varied. I don't know if there's a method to choose which move you do but pressing the button while playing gave me different moves against the same enemy type (an improvement over God of War).

Yeah the MGS4 gameplay vid is up there in super duper HD, a video every man and his dog should watch. Also the Resident Evil 5 trailer that appeared on Live yesterday is now on the PS store. Overall a great update to the store, the last few weeks have been great for the store. Seems Sony finally have content lines sorted so they can get worthwhile downloads up there every week; not just movie trailers.
