But it's about consoles.
I moved out of my house last week, where I owned half of a Wii and half of an Xbox 360. I swapped my half of the Xbox 360 for my housemates half of the Wii, and we had one console each. Truth is, I'd rather have the 360, but the one at the house was preeeeeetty shit, and pretty much on it's way to disrepair.
I'm left with a Wii Console, 4 Controllers, 2 Nunchucks, Zelda, Wii Sports and Wii Play. I'm not up on my console values, so does anybody know my chances of getting enough cash for this to be able to afford a 360, 2 Controllers, Xbox Live and Pro Evo 6. Doesn't have to be brand new, mind you.

Aren't Wii's still sold out everywhere though? I thought I'd be able to garner (Yeah, garner) more than that for it. What's Live going for these days?

God knows, I dont work. AT COMPUTER EXCHANGE.
They arent really sold out any more... there seems to have been a recent shipment or something, because I went through Birmingham last weekend and a few shops had them (including Game, where I got mine from, no pre-orders or anything) and WHSmith round by me even has some in... it just seems like theres been a shipment.
So 160 I think is round about the better price youll get... Im not sure though so you could look around. 160 though, is only 20 quid less than the retail price. Cant ask for much more.

is it just 160 for the wii itself? because you'd then get more for all the extras you have with it thom.

Sold the Wii and everything for £250, and bought the following;
Xbox 360 Core Package
1 Additional Wireless Controller
20gb Hard Drive
Xbox Live Gold 12 Month Subscription
Xbox Live Headset
64mb Memory Unit
Ethernet Cable
Lost Planet
Just Cause
Pro Evolution Soccer 6
project Gotham Racing 3
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Spider-Man 3
Football Manager 2007
NBA Street: Homecourt
Brian Lara Cricket 2007
UEFA Champion's League 2006/2007
NFL Madden 2007
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007
For £330. I only want to keep about 4 of those games max. But even if I only get as little as £10 for each of the ones I don't want, that's still a healthy £80 in cash trade-ins from Game, taking it down to £250 for everything I wanted, plus a few extra games.

when i've finished a game and feel like trading it in, i get game to put it onto a gift card rather than take cash as they give you less, or wait for a new game to come out as it means im getting best value for my trade in.

Hmm besides GTAVI, I'm not sure there's anything else coming out that I'd want to buy. I'll see how much cash I get, I might sell the big money titles (Spider-man, UEFA and Brian Lara) on eBay, sure to get at least £20 each for them.
