thats a shit comparison because halo has endless replay value with xbox live. its better compared to multiplayer shooter games like gow, cs, quake and games like that.

I'm not trying to bring this game down at all. Hell, I even pre-ordered it. I just honestly think that Bungie is not taking the step forward into the next generation. The gameplay has a couple of tweeks here and there. (Man cannon, anyone?) And the Bubble is good, I guess. But is that it? Is that what everyone is going to be hyped over? It sounds like a few people, including myself, will be let down once they buy this game. A reporter was talking, and I couldn't agree with him more. He said, "If you start playing Halo 3 with the expectations that it'll be the same or better than Gears of War, you'll be disappointed." I guess that is my mindset. After seeing Epic increase their graphics and bring in amazing duck and cover gameplay, I expected Bungie to step up their game. I guess that's asking too much though.

You have to realize that the Halo 3 beta in no way, shape or form represents the final product. If you'd seen the early Gears of War gameplay demos that I saw, you'd understand my point. At first, that game didn't look much better than your average game. But when the final release came out, every was gawking at it's beauty.
