so i get my shiney (very shiney) PS3 home, plug the thing in via HDMI, and hope for the best, the console turns on boots up using the HDMI interface and everything seems good. then i decide to register an account for the PS3 online service, all seems good until i have to upgrade my firmware. when installing, the console said 'the screen may go black for a few moments', which it did....although 20 minuites is not really a few moments. anyway, i decided after all the messing about and signing up to PS£ online, that i would pop motorstorm in. the shiney power house of heat sucks my disk up and seems to automaticly go into the game. however after i see the 'playstation 3' logo that is shown when booting up to a game, thats the last i see of it. the TV starts spazaming telling me its going from HDMI input to DVI input constantly (which is fucked up because theres no DVI on my TV). so anyway after 15 mins of waiting for the game to boot i decided its not happening. i reset the console and for some odd reason i get no signal from the HDMI. this is kinda how it started going, im having problems getting my PS3 and the HDMI interface on my TV to work together proporly. so at this point it was like 3:00am and im up for work genrally at 6:00am. SO i decided id research it on the net, sure enough people were having similar problems, but they could correct theres by removing the HDMI cable for a few moments and sticking it back in the console, in my case this does not work. by the time i had it recognise the HDMI to a small point it was 3:30am and i was getting tired, so i switched to the standard composite cables, which btw work fine. i played motorstorm for a good 10 mins then fell asleep. now its 8:13am and im getting very pissed off at my new console that i spent good hard earned cash on. any suggestions at all on how to get this cunt of a console to work correctly? otherwise im phoning sony as soon as i get home from work. (that in itself worries me, at work we once had to send a VAIO to sony for repair......they took a god dam month.

so before i go through that hastle, lil help?

got a 360, im thinking more that i should phone sony, get some sort of answer, if its a bad answer, ill seel the cunt on ebay, and buy a wii, AND have money left over for a good few weeks worth of booze

Hey man. I know how ur feeling. I'm in a pridicament also. Do u have a regular TV? If u do, try the setting up that shit there. After that, connect it to ur HDTV by bringing it there. Also, does ur HDTV have a 1080p Resolution. That's when it's on;y gonna work on the High-Definition.

U have a PS3?Fuckin awesome but my neighbour had some trouble with it and he went back to the store and got a new one,there was something inside not working.
