Following the conclusion of RAW last night which seen Triple H unable to stand and showing concussion like effects, it appears that it is to be part of an angle which will see his family try to convince him to call time on his time in the ring.

WWE.com have an update on Triple H's injury which notes it to be a result of the head trauma he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar:

Dr. Sampson explained to WWE.com:

"Obviously, we saw what happened Monday night: He went against medical advice and tried to wrestle. Luckily, he pulled himself out.

After further evaluation, The Game is still exhibiting some post-concussion symptoms and he'll be held out of action until WWE's medical staff can conduct further neurological tests.

At this point, the neurological exams are all normal. But we will continue to employ neuropsychological testing to get a better idea how he’s doing mentally, as far as reaction time, thought process and so on."

You can view the angle that ended Raw last night embedded above.
RAW Results – Monday May 20, 2013
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Report By: Kendra Bunyon

Pre-RAW Commercial

Tonight the shocking conclusion to Cena vs Ryback. Who endured in the cage last night? Find out in minutes as RAW starts at the top of the hour!

Ambulance Segment

An ambulance is coming into the arena, lights and sirens blaring! Ryback climbs out the back with a new black leather vest that says Ryback Rules on the front in red. He has mic in hand, though they run to still from last night. Now he’s on top of the ambulance. He says last night the official decision for his match with Cena was No Decision. While Cena walked away with the WWE Title, he didn’t walk away, he was carried away. Cut to video of Cena on the stretcher, neck brace on his neck, but got up and refused to go.

Ryback says last night Cena refused to get in an ambulance, but next time he won’t. I’m not on this ambulance to look cool, because I don’t care what you think anymore. I’m here to propose an Ambulance Match at Payback. In an Ambulance Match it doesn’t matter if you can still stand, if your heart is still beating. All that matters is throw the other man in the back of the ambulance, and that man will be Cena. Cena will be taken to a medical facility, where all of you are eventually going. In actuality, most of you will skip the medical facility and head straight for the morgue. Look around at yourselves, pathetic, weak, weak, weak, weak people of society. I have nothing in common with any of you. (Boo) You have no idea what it feels like waking up wanting to be the damn best. You don’t start the day with goals or direction. (Boo) You’re all lost souls of society. Yet you worship Cena. (Pop) You wanna be like Cena. (Pop) Cena is your hero. (Pop) Absolutely pathetic! (Pop) None of you have anything in common with Cena. None of you know what it’s like to bust your ass everyday. You know nothing about nutrition, education, hard work. You have no idea what it takes. I tell you what. At WWE Payback, I take Cena to the medical facility, to the morgue. I take all of you to the morgue with Cena. (Serious heat) There’s only one fact of life and that is, Ryback Rules!

Announce Segment

Cole talks about how extreme Extreme Rules is. Heyman confirmed he will introduce his newest client tonight.

Announce Segment

Cole pushes Sonic shakes in a huge way as the fans drink them.

Fandango & Barrett vs Jericho & Miz

Fandango out with Summer Rae. He’s in his newer ring gear, she is in a sheer and sparkly yellow dress. They pose in the center of the ring under the flaming Fandango, that Cole calls the Lite Bright kit. Barrett out to new music to tag with him. Miz is out, but waits for Jericho. The lights go out, Jericho is posing in his blinkie jacket. Stills from last night.

Barrett demands Fandango go to the apron. Jericho and Barrett circle. Side headlock on Jericho. Jericho pushes out and takes a shoulder block, but comes back with a drop kick on Barrett. Chops on Barrett as Fandango watches closely. Jericho eats a back elbow and Fandango tags in. Fandango on Jericho with blows on the mat, then a couple kicks. Jericho whipped and hits the mat. Upper cut on Jericho, then Fandango on him with blows until the ref pulls him off. “Y2J” Road Dogg on the app talks about taking out Fandango. Fandango poses and Barrett gets in his face. Barrett in legally and after Jericho.

Chinlock on Miz on the mat as Fandango is tended to outside by SR. Miz up and elbows free. High knee to Barrett, then a kick. Mis sets up, but Fandango on mic says his own name for us. His music plays and they start dancing right in front of announce. Barrett yells at Fandango, then turns around into Jericho’s attacks. Jericho off the top, then a running bulldog. Jericho looks out at Fandango and SR, then a rough lionsault. Code breaker on Barrett. Jericho tags out. Miz locks in the fig 4 and Barrett taps out.

Winners – Jericho & Miz (8:20)

Jericho and Miz are announced the winners. Jericho and Miz look out at Fandango and SR dancing. They go out opposite sides of the ring toward Fandango. Fandango slightly pushes SR forward, then flees back through the crowd. She looks shocked, upset and scared, then makes eyes at Jericho. “Y2J!” chants. Jericho puts a hand out to her, spins her in, dips her. They look deep into each others eyes. Jericho laughs, puts a hand up in her face and walks away still laughing at her. SR is furious.

Stage Segment

EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME! Vickie out in black pants, black with white polka dot shirt, and red blazer says, as the supervising manager of RAW, I have decided that Swagger will be in a match, anyone with the WWE App can vote for either – Khali, R-Truth or Orton to face Swagger tonight. The polls will open later, but you can only vote on the App.

Announce Segment

Talking about the replay, and JBL hates it. And The Shield with gold.

Backstage Segment

Bryan, in the locker room, is pissed. Kane in and asks Bryan if he’s ready.

Bryan – I have realized that I’m not the tag team champs, you’re not the tag team champs, we’re not the tag team champs.

Kane – All this negativity isn’t productive.

Bryan – From the man who says embrace the hate. I feel naked without the Title.

Kane – Well, your not wearing a shirt. Or pants. (The camera pulls back to show Bryan in his ring gear.)

Bryan – Jokes? The Shield took us to the woodshed last night and you make jokes?

Kane – Because, I’m confident, and you should be too. We get a rematch with The Shield, Daniel. If you want a chance at getting the titles back, The Shield preys on vulnerability.

Bryan – Weakness? Weakness? Are you implying that I’m the weak like of this team?

Kane – We’ll talk about this later.

Bryan – No, we’ll talk about this now! I am not the weak link of this team!

Kofi – Guys, guys, come on!

Bryan – I’ll see you guys out there. (Bryan turns and leaves Kofi and Kane standing there.)

In Ring Segment

Sheamus to the ring.

Sheamus vs Titus O’Neil w/ Young

Sheamus in the ring. Video of Henry after the show. Henry gets up, walks out, says, “Goin’ home.” O’Neil to the ring with Young in tow.

They circle, lock up, O’Neil into a corner, not the cleanest break from Sheamus. Side headlock on O’Neil. O’Neil pushes free and eats a shoulder block. They lock up, side headlock on Sheamus, then Sheamus gets the shoulder block and O’Neil barks. O’Neil sent out over the top after some struggling. O’Neil on the apron, locked onto the top rope, and Sheamus with his forearms, all ten, then Sheamus kicks his knee and he falls to the floor. Young after Sheamus, so Young into the barricade, but then Sheamus is run down by O’Neil. Sheamus sent in, O’Neil after him. Sheamus scooped up, then flipped up and over his head. O’Neil says, uyou think you do tough? You think you so BLEEP tough? (Looked like he dropped an F-bomb on RAW, but it could have been freaking and they were going safe, but Jesse and I are almost sure he dropped an f-bomb!)

Sheamus lands sitting in the corner, but Sheamus with blows and to his feet, but then runs into a back clothesline for two. O’Neil stomps Sheamus, then lifts and drops him for two. Arm/chin hold on Sheamus. Sheamus head butts free, then gets his feet up in O’Neil’s face. Young right outside distracting Sheamus. O’Neil to his feet and eats clotheslines, then a shoulder in the corner. High running knee to O’Neil. Sheamus gets O’Neil up, but O’Neil free! Sheamus hangs O’Neil up top. Sheamus sets up and waits for O’Neil to get up. Brogue kick!

Winner – Sheamus (6:35)

Video recap of white noise and brogue kick to O’Neil.

Announce Segment

Kevin Jonas is the Social Media Ambassador tonight.

In Ring Segment

Heyman out to a mixed reaction, and all smiles. To the ring as Cole talks about how he will announce his newest client tonight. Heyman says, I get it, I understand. When it’s a Heyman guy who exposes one of your heroes, I’m the one who catches your wrath, gets your boos. So, go ahead, get it out of your system. Boo me all you want. (King does) Tell me, what does it feel like to be powerless. Your boos will never change the historical fact that last night a true Heyman guy, the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, defeated Triple H in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules. History won’t record boo/cheer/we hate you Heyman, history will record the fact that Brock emerged victorious, and like I warned you on RAW, Trip will go down in history against my client as a loser. Tonight, while I stand before you, my client is enjoying the spoils of war, and Trip goes home to Mommy. I takes a desperate man to bring a sledge hammer into the ring with Brock. Now that Brock has fulfilled his obligations to WWE, the question remains, what’s Heyman going to talk about now?

It’s time for something new, different, give to the WWE ‘Universe’, from my generosity that moment in time that you set your DVRs and you play back ten years from now. The YouTube clip you look back on and say, that’s the moment history took a left turn (I hope that’s true). Because you’re all here tonight to witness history. Ladies and gentlemen, now’s the time to hit record, because I, Paul Heyman, stand before you this evening and I give to you, the newest Paul Heyman Guy!

Out comes Joe Hennig to his father’s (Curt Hennig) music (Perfection). Heyman is clapping in the ring. Joe, on the bottom of the ramp smiles and yells, I have arrived! Into the ring, they shake, then hug! (Serious heat) They’ve proved me right again. It’s the very same reaction I warned my client he was going to face. It’s the very same reaction you gave in 2002 when I introduced you to the NCAA Division 1 Heavyweight Champion, the man that took care of Triple H last night, Brock Lesnar. (more heat) The very same reaction they gave me in 2006 when in the new ECW, I presented to them the man who would reign for 434 days, as the reigning, defending WWE Champion, CM Punk. I understand how everybody here feels. This man has such legacy, such heritage, such, check out the word, pedigree going for him. Alice In Wonderland upside-down, everything is up, everything is down mentality in the WWE, why isn’t this man a Superstar already?

On man in the stands yells, “Because he sucks!”

It’s all because in the WWE a legacy isn’t something that gives you nepotistic possibilities, it’s an albatross. Sinks you to the bottom of the talent pool. My client doesn’t hide the fact that he has a bloodline that makes him a 3rd generation Superstar! But this man wants to carve out his own niche, make his own legend in the WWE. Which is why we have taken his father, Mr. Perfect’s given name Curt, and we have paid homage to his grandfather the legendary Larry ‘The Ax’ Hennig, and we have bestowed upon this man a new name, a new brand that will forever be known around the WWE ‘Universe’ as Curtis Axel.

The fans hate this.

I guess you weren’t paying attention, I’ll try this again, ladies and gentlemen, Curtis Axel!

Bigger heat from the fans.

Perhaps you could appreciate…

Heyman is cut off by Trip’s music. Heyman looks shocked, then smiles at Trip who comes out, but the lights on him blink out. Back to Heyman, then to Trip and the lights were on. Cole says he’s shocked Trip is there after what Brock did to Trip last night. JBL says he’s shocked Trip is standing. That was one of the most brutal matches I’ve seen my 20 years here. Trip comes to the ring wearing jeans, leather jacket, Trip t-shirt.

Trip says wow, you can really whip up a batch of Kool Aid, cantcha?

Listen!

Trip turns to Axel and tells him the adults are having a conversation over here junior. Heyman you can put whatever spin you want on last night, but don’t come out and say I’m embarrassed, that I ran with my tail tucked. I’m not embarrassed about a damn thing last night. I went to war with Bradley Lesnar! Your damn right, he beat men, just like I beat him at WrestleMania. Brock beat me last night, but he didn’t just walk away, he limped away from that battle. But, I was sitting in back listening to you run your garbage chute and it donned on me. You know what would make me happy? Solely, because I can, come out here and beat the ever-living crap out of you.

Hey, says Axel stepping up in Trip’s face. I don’t think you understand, the game around here has changed. You wanna talk to him, how about you talk to me first? Axel right in Trip’s face.

Trip bitch slaps Axel to the mat.

You know what? I just changed my mind. First, I’m going to have a match tonight, with you (Axel). And when I get done kicking your ass, I’m going to kick yours (Heyman).

Trip leaves the ring, and as he walks up the ramp Axel is to his feet, and bows up to no one standing there. Heyman in Axel’s ears as he fumes.

WWE Rewind

Stills from all members of The Shield with gold last night at Extreme Rules.

In Ring Segment

The Shield to the ring through the stands, gold in hand. Rollins says his name. Reigns says his. Ambrose says, they are the new TTC! (pop) I’m Dean Ambrose, and I’m the US Champion! Last night at Extreme Rules, The Shield brought power back to these titles. Kofi and Team Hell No didn’t believe. They do now. You know who else didn’t believe? The Rock, and we’re the reason The Rock lost the WWE Title at WrestleMania. We broke him down so bad he had to go get surgery. The Undertaker didn’t believe, now Dead Man’s restin’ in peace. You’ll never see him again. Ryback, what we did to Ryback, we broke him down, we left him feeling so alone, so helpless, so betrayed he snapped and went after Cena. The real reason Cena was carted off last night, The Shield. The Shield did that. All non-believers, all your heroes that you blindly follow, all go down by the swift arm of justice! (Mixed reaction)

Rollins – I’ve heard it said that justice is blind, but after what we did last night. Justice can see just blind, and all of you can see what a cohesive unit looks like, the meaning of unbreakable right before you. You can see the future. The scary part is boys, this is just the beginning.

Reigns – The ending, that stays the same. You put them in front of us, and we take them out. The Hounds of Justice run this yard! And we carry the collars to back it up!

All three men raise their belts.

Ambrose – The fire of justice if burning bright, and we are the flames. Believe in The Shield!

John Cena Injury Update Following Extreme Rules

In an update to the "injury" John Cena suffered at the hands of Ryback in the WWE Championship Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules, WWE aired footage of Cena getting up and walking away from the stretcher as he was being loaded into an ambulance.

For those that have not seen the pay-per-view, Ryback rammed John Cena through the lower part of the LED lights on the stage. This led to the referee (Charles Robinson) running to the back to check on both men and calling for medical assistance.

The footage that aired on the pay-per-view showed Ryback being helped to his feet while John Cena was placed on a stretcher and had a neck brace fitted, however there was no count from the referee which resulted in the match being ruled a "No Contest".

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler teased an official update on Raw.
WWE Extreme Rules Results - Sunday, May 19, 2013
Location: Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri
Report By: Sean Hopkins

Pre-Show

Welcome to the 2013 WWE Extreme Rules Pre-Show, I’m Richard Gray and I’m going to provide an ongoing recap. Sean Hopkins will take over at the top of the hour. Cue the WWE open and “Live it Up” by Airbourne as they show crowd shots. Renee Young is the host of a panel including WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Titus O’Neil and WWE hall of Famer Mick Foley.

Titus O’Neil criticizes Barrett for wearing a t-shirt because he and Foley are in ties. Young is wearing a dress. O’Neil says he didn’t signup to be here commentating and would rather be in the ring. Foley says this is one of his favorite nights of the year. Foley says, please let the record show that it’s Wade Barrett that’s underdressed.

Wade Barrett is most anticipating Randy Orton vs. Big Show Extreme Rules bout. Barrett puts over the fact they’re in Orton’s hometown of St. Louis. O’Neil is looking forward to the strap match between Sheamus and Mark Henry. He puts over the strength of Mark Henry. Foley puts over the choices of his colleagues but says he’s looking forward to the Last Man Standing match between John Cena and Ryback for the WWE Championship. Young cues a recap video of Cena vs. Ryback and the Ryback heel turn.

Renee Young asks each panel member what they think of Cena vs. Ryback. Mick Foley says no one is tougher than John Cena but he doesn’t know if there is a way for him to win with the injured Achilles tendon. O’Neil says the experience plus injury is not of equal value. Foley says Cena may have reached the peak of his career in terms of personal goals. Foley says the match may be a case of who wants it more and he has to believe Ryback wants it more. Wade Barrett says he doesn’t think the fact that Cena beat The Rock at Wrestlemania 29 is going to have any impact on tonight’s bout. He says it’s Ryback’s to win. The plug a Facebook poll, asking viewers What will be the most Extreme Match of the Night?

I lost the feed and reloaded the page. We’re still stuck on the poll. Heading over to Yahoo, Cody Rhodes and The Miz is underway.

Singles Match
Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz

Cody Rhodes, mustache and all is in control with a two count on The Miz. He’s stomping away on the former WWE Champion’s midsection. Rhodes whips him off the ropes and puts an abdominal stretch on him on the mat. The crowd tries to get behind Miz as he gets to his feet. He tries to battle out.

Miz ends up rolling up Rhodes but Rhodes kicks out and counters. He gets a cover of his own for a two count. Rhodes applies a leglock on the mat. They both get up and exchange offense. Miz comes out ahead, delivering a boot to Cody’s face. Miz pumps the crowd and runs at Cody in the corner. Cody tries to count but is covered for two. Miz counters, Cody does as well.

It’s back and forth with Miz trying to go for the Figure Four. Rhodes tries to hit Cross Rhodes. Rhodes goes off the ropes but Miz locks in the Figure Four leglock. He’s got it locked and Rhodes taps.

Winner via submission The Miz

After the match, Miz gets on the ropes and pumps the crowd. We go to Extreme Rules moments, #1 from last year between Brock Lesnar and John Cena.

Back live, Renee Young gets the final thoughts from the panel as the announcers are introduced to the live crowd. Jerry Lawler gets a monster pop as he was introduced after Michael Cole and JBL. Mick Foley talks up how intense Triple H’s rivalry that Brock Lesnar has become. He says Lesnar has one task at hand, to destroy Triple H. Young wraps up the show and encourages viewers to tune in for the Post-Show.

WWE Extreme Rules

We get a video package to open the show. It highlights the main feuds heading into tonight, especially John Cena vs. Ryback, Triple H vs. Lesnar, and the ‘Extreme’ theme of tonight’s show.

Singles Match
Fandango w/Summer Rae vs. Chris Jericho

The pyro hits and Michael Cole welcomes us to the show. Chris Jericho’s music hits, and Y2J is on his way down to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. We get a recap of Fandango’s debut match at WrestleMania where he scored a win over Jericho, then a quick update from Monday night where the two men had a dance-off that ended in violence (this might be the best sentence I’ve ever typed).

Fandango is out next, accompanied by Summer Rae. Some of the members in the crowd are trying their darndest to get a Fandango-ing happening, but it’s not really catching on. Jericho is not impressed by Fandango’s entrance, feigning sleep in the corner.

The bell rings and both men begin circling each other. This crowd is solidly behind Jericho. They lock up and Jericho backs Fandango into the corner and breaks cleanly. They do it again, but Jericho slaps Fandango, and gets a shove in return. Fandango takes Jericho down with a shoulder block, but eats a dropkick, then a back elbow from Y2J. Fandango drops out to the floor, and Jericho is quick to follow. He chases him around, and back into the ring, hitting the dancer with another elbow, then hitting a baseball slide to send him back to the outside.

Jericho heads to the top and leaps to the outside, wiping Fandango out with a body press, then posing on the announcer’s table. Jericho sends Fandango back into the ring, but Fandango recovers quickly and stomps at Jericho’s chest and head. Jericho catches Fandango with a couple of stiff kicks out of nowhere, sending him to the outside. Fandango crawls back into the ring, and catches Jericho with a boot that’s good for a two count. Fandango ties Jericho up in the ropes and hits him with a couple of forearms to the back of the head before dropping to the outside to catch him with a kick to the face for another two count. Fandango locks in a rear chin lock.

Jericho fights to his feet and tries for a roll up, but misses it, setting up another two count for Fandango. Fandango heads out to the apron and comes in with a slingshot leg drop for another near fall. Fandango traps Jericho in another rear chin lock and Jericho fights to his feet, dropping Fandango with a back body drop. Jericho fights up to his feet in the corner and avoids a splash. He hits Fandango with a couple of shoulder blocks, but ends up tossed to the apron. Jericho heads to the top turnbuckle and leaps off with an axe handle smash before hitting a running bulldog. Jericho tries for the Walls, but Fandango kicks him away.

Jericho heads to the top and hits a cross body, but Fandango rolls through for two. Fandango hits a big kick for another two count and is frustrated. He kicks away at Jericho and heads to the top rope. He leaps off with a leg drop, but Jericho moves and hits the lionsault. Y2J goes for the pin but Fandango kicks out at two. Jericho hits Fandango with a couple of nasty chops in the corner. Fandango tries for a roll up, but Jericho reverses into the Walls of Jericho. Fandango is screaming, but he reaches the ropes.

Fandango hits Jericho in the back of the head and Jericho drops. Fandango heads to the top and leaps off, but Jericho catches him with the Code Breaker and pins the newcomer for three.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Josh Mathews is backstage with Sheamus. He asks how he’ll be able to drag Mark Henry around the ring, touch all four corners, and win his strap match tonight? Sheamus repeats pretty much everything Josh just said before saying that he hits back. He says at Extreme Rules, the World’s Strongest Man will find out exactly what happens when the Celtic Warrior goes Extreme.

WWE United States Championship Match
After a lengthy recap of the events between Ryback and Cena on Raw (which I’m sure we’ll see several more times tonight), it’s time for another match. Kofi Kingston makes his way out to the ring first for the next match, and gets an OK pop out of the crowd.

Dean Ambrose makes his way out through the crowd. He’s backed by Rollins and Reigns for a bit, but they let him go to the ring by himself.

The bell rings and Ambrose is all over Kofi, tying him up and focusing on the arm. Kofi tosses him away, but Ambrose hits a shoulderblock. Kofi tries for Trouble in Paradise, but Ambrose avoids it. Kofi is able to catch Ambrose with a monkey flip before catching him in the corner and hitting him with a series of rights. Ambrose tosses Kofi away and hits a nice clothesline before following up with a beautiful elbow drop. Ambrose picks Kofi up for a neckbreaker that’s good for a two count.

Ambrose ties Kofi up in the ropes and hits a nasty dropkick that’s good for another near fall. Ambrose picks Kingston up and the two trade rights. Kingston gets in a couple of kicks, but misses a knee, and Ambrose is able to lock in the crossface chicken wing. He drops to the mat and Kofi is trapped. Kofi fights his way up to his feet and out of the hold, hitting a couple of double chops to the chest, and a dropkick to Ambrose. Kofi hits a leaping clothesline and follows up with the Boom Drop.

Kingston misses Ambrose in the corner, but he’s able to connect with the SOS for two. Kofi heads up to the top rope, but he’s stopped by Ambrose. Ambrose heads up after Kofi and tries for a superplex, but Kofi fights him off. Ambrose stops Kofi from making progress and heads up again, butterflying the arms, and suplexing Kofi to the mat. Ambrose covers Kofi and gets another two count. Ambrose picks Kofi up and shoves him into the corner, but he runs into a boot from Kofi. Kofi hits a springboard cross body for a two count, then back drops the challenger out to the apron. Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise while Ambrose is on the apron, and Ambrose drops to the floor.

Kingston brings Ambrose back in the ring for the pin, but only gets two. Ambrose rolls up Kofi, but Kofi kicks out. Kingston misses Trouble in Paradise, and Ambrose connects with his crazy DDT, getting the three count.

Winner and NEW WWE United States Champion: Dean Ambrose

Rollins and Reigns are out to celebrate with Ambrose immediately after the match, hugging and lifting him up on their shoulders.

Strap Match
Sheamus vs. Mark Henry

We get and update on the events over the past couple of weeks that led up to this match before Lillian explains the rules of a strap match. Mark Henry is out to the ring first, and he gets a little bit of heat from the fans in the crowd.

There are goofy lights up in the corners that will light up as the competitors touch the corners.

Sheamus is out to the ring next, and he gets a nice cheer from the fans on his way down to the ring.

Henry ties one end of the strap on his wrist, then tosses the other end at Sheamus. He yanks it away before Sheamus can grab it. The referee picks it up and allows Sheamus to put the strap on his wrist. Sheamus and Henry shake the strap in each other’s faces as the bell rings. Henry steps on the strap, but Sheamus yanks it up and Henry falls.

Both men begin trading rights, and Henry goes down and Sheamus hits a shoulder block, and a chop block to the knee. Sheamus touches one corner, and tries to drag Henry to the other corner, but Henry pulls Sheamus back for a clothesline.

Henry binds Sheamus’ legs with the strap and begins to drag him around the ring. He hits one turnbuckle, and a second, but Sheamus gets out of the tie up and heads out to the apron. Sheamus heads back into the ring and Henry clotheslines him over the top rope. Henry pulls Sheamus back up to the apron, but Sheamus drops him over the top rope. Sheamus hits the turnbuckle and runs around the apron, hitting three turnbuckles, but Henry pulls on the strap and closes the distance, hitting Sheamus with a huge blow to drop him from the apron.

Sheamus gets back up to the apron and Henry yanks him up and over the top rope, back into the ring. Henry picks up some of the slack on the strap and uses it to begin whipping Sheamus. He picks him up across his shoulder and hits one turnbuckle, but Sheamus hits them as well. Henry and Sheamus both hit three turnbuckles, but Henry notices it and drops Sheamus with a headbutt. Henry falls to a knee and the ref waves everything off. Henry gets the strap between he legs and Sheamus yanks upwards, then hits a giant clothesline before dropping a series of knees into Henry’s face.

Sheamus begins to use the strap as a whip on Henry before he tries to touch the turnbuckles. He gets three, then finds himself dropped with a spine buster. Sheamus rolls to the outside and Henry follows. Sheamus hits Henry with a big right hand and gets him against the ring post. Sheamus rolls through the ring and kind of traps Henry with the strap, but not really, before heading to the apron and kicking away at the big man.

Sheamus drops to the floor and yanks Henry into the ring post before both men head back into the ring. Sheamus hits another three turnbuckles, but Henry stands between him and a fourth. Sheamus tries to rush into the corner, but Henry almost catches him with the World’s Strongest Slam. Sheamus fights out and hits the brogue kick before hitting the fourth turnbuckle to win the match.

Winner: Sheamus

AJ is shown talking on a cell phone backstage. Kaitlyn walks in and says she’s talked to Vickie. She says AJ said she’s too distraught to fight in a title match because of Dolph’s concussion. AJ said she thought Kaitlyn could use the time to focus on her secret admirer. Kaitlyn says since Dolph had this concussion, AJ isn’t Dolph’s biggest headache. Kaitlyn calls AJ Looney Toons before saying ‘that’s all folks’. AJ says it’s appropriate she’s quoting a pig. Kaitlyn attacks from behind and the two get into a fight until referees pull them apart.

No. 1 Contenders “I Quit” Match
Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter vs. Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez

Jack Swagger makes his way out to the ring first for the next match, and of course he’s accompanied by Zeb Coalter. Coalter has a mic and asks for the music to be cut. He says America is going to the toilet, but Swagger is a ray of light in a sea of darkness. If you watched the cable news channels, you might have found out some disturbing evidence. The government has been using the IRS to target individuals like Zeb. Zeb talks about a couple of other aspects of this scandal and says it doesn’t surprise him. He asks who’s going to jail? Who’s being arrested? He says it’s everyone here’s fault. Everyone who’s not a real American. He points to the city’s baseball team, saying it shoulder be the St. Louis Cardinals, it should be the Caribbean Cardinals, because that’s what they are, and they take the money and run. Just like Del Rio. But Swagger’s not like that. Tonight he’s going to make Del Rio say ‘I Quit’ in two different languages, and then they’re going hunting for Dolph Ziggler and the World Championship. Swagger’s America has begun. Swagger grabs the mic and says ‘We the People’.

Lilian introduces Ricardo in Spanish, who in turn introduces Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio gets a pretty nice little pop out of the crowd. Ricardo has a bucket with a towel in it and a decal of the flag of Mexico on the side.

The bell rings and Del Rio catches Swagger with a couple of rights before hitting him with a clothesline to send him over the top and to the outside. Del Rio hits the ropes and dives through with a head butt, wiping Swagger out on the floor. Del Rio goes under the ring for a kendo stick, but he misses when he swings, and Swagger suplexes him to the floor.

Alberto is asked if he wants to quit, and says no. Swagger grabs the stick and chokes Del Rio against the barricade, but he still won’t quit. Del Rio fights out and sends Swagger into the ring steps, then slams his hand into the ring steps repeatedly before stomping on his hand.

When they head back into the ring, Swagger grabs the kendo stick and wears it out on Del Rio, hitting him repeatedly. Swagger drops to the outside and pulls Del Rio against the ring post, wrenching his back. Del Rio refuses to quit. Swagger heads back into the ring and hits Del Rio with a kendo stick shot to the ankle, then another. Swagger tries for another kendo stick shot, but Del Rio grabs it and fights up to his feet. Swagger puts him right back down with a clothesline. Swagger ties Del Rio up in the ropes and grabs the stick, hitting Del Rio across the chest. Del Rio refuses to quit after repeated shots.

Del Rio heads out to the apron and he catches Swagger with the arm breaker over the top rope. Swagger refuses to quit, and grabs the mic from the ref, hitting Del Rio with it to cause him to fall to the floor. Swagger heads to the outside and grabs a chair, heading back into the ring. Swagger gets up to the apron and gets caught with an enzugiri from Del Rio. Swagger rolls back into the ring and kicks at Del Rio’s knee, dropping him to the mat.

Swagger misses a kick and Del Rio comes back with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before hitting Swagger with a superkick while he’s on his knees. Swagger rolls to the apron and Del Rio wraps him up in the ropes. Del Rio grabs the kendo stick and hits Swagger across the back repeatedly before hitting a backstabber to bring him back into the ring. Swagger calls for the arm breaker, but when he tries for it, Swagger pushes him off and slams him down to the mat.

Swagger hits a Vader bomb out of the corner, and follows it up with a gut-wrench powerbomb, but Del Rio won’t give up. Swagger picks Del Rio up for another gut-wrench powerbomb, but Del Rio refuses to quit. Swagger looks upset. He reaches down, and ends up being trapped in the cross arm breaker. Swagger rolls out into the ankle lock. Del Rio won’t quit, but Swagger falls to the mat and grapevines the leg. Ricardo has the towel and thinks about throwing it in. Zeb chases Ricardo off, and Zeb tosses in the towel. The ref sees the towel, and thinks Ricardo has given up for Del Rio, and this match is over.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship: Jack Swagger

Another ref comes down and says that Zeb threw in the towel, and the official of the match heads to the timekeeper’s area and asks for a replay (WHAT???). The ref says if Alberto can continue, this match will restart.

Alberto gets to his feet and says he can continue. Swagger pounces and kicks at Del Rio’s ankle. Del Rio kicks Swagger away and catches him with a nasty kick to the shoulder. Del Rio clamps on the arm breaker. Swagger almost gives up, but makes it to his feet. Del Rio drops him back down to the mat, and Swagger is forced to quit.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship (for real this time): Alberto Del Rio

Josh Matthews is backstage with Ryback. Ryback says Cena is a liar. He can spout garbage about never giving up, because words are all he has. Tonight, he’s not getting up, because Ryback won’t let him. He should have been WWE Champion 6 months ago, but because people play by different rules, things change. But tonight, Ryback rules.

Tag Team Tornado Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No © vs. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins

Kane and Daniel Bryan are out to the ring first, and the Champions get a nice reaction out of the crowd.

The Shield is out next, this time without Ambrose. The crowd was super hot for Ambrose earlier, let’s see how they like this match.

The bell rings and we’re off. Kane and Reigns pair off while Rollins and Bryan fight in another corner. Reigns sends Kane into the ropes, but eats a big DDT. Bryan flips over Rollins and hits a nice running clothesline. Bryan traps Rollins’ legs and rips at his face before pulling him back into the surfboard, then dropping him down for a dropkick from Kane. Reigns gets to his feet and peppers Kane with right hands in the corner. He and Rollins stomp Kane for a bit before Rollins whips Bryan into the corner and follows in with a running forearm. Reigns follows up with a big clothesline.

Rollins and Reigns hit Kane with a double suplex. Reigns heads up to the top turnbuckle and Rollins hands Bryan to him for a powerbomb, but Bryan counters with a hurricanrana. Kane grabs Rollins and Reigns by their throats and pushes them over the top rope. Bryan hits the ropes and dives through, wiping out both Rollins and Reigns. Hell No bring Rollins and Reigns back into the ring and before on both men in opposite corners before hitting Reigns with a sidewalk slam/elbow drop combo. Kane heads to the top and takes out Rollins with a flying clothesline before Bryan hits a flying head butt on Rollins.

Bryan tries for a roll up on Reigns, but can’t get it. Bryan does lock in the No lock though. Rollins breaks it up with a springboard forearm. Kane hits Rollins with a chokeslam that sends crashing to the mat, then rolling out to the floor. Reigns gets to his feet and takes Bryan into the corner, stomping and pounding away. Kane pulls him out and hits him with a couple of rights, but he ends up shoved into Bryan before getting kicked in the gut. Kane catches Reigns around the throat, but Rollins catches him with a flying knee from the top. Reigns hits the spear, but a pin is broken up by Bryan. Bryan kicks at Reigns chest repeatedly, but ends up rolled up.

Bryan tries for the No lock to counter, but ends up slingshotted into the ropes, and a kick from Rollins. Reigns shoulders Bryan and Rollins drops a knee across his throat. Reigns pins Bryan for a three count.

Winners and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Ambrose is down and the Shield show off their haul from the night. Rollins said in a promo during the pre-show that tonight would be their coronation, and it looks like that’s exactly what happened.

Cole talks a bit about the Extreme Rules post-show that will be happening tonight on YouTube, and WWE.com with Wade Barrett, Titus O’Neil, and Mick Foley. Everyone talks a bit about what they think will have the biggest impact from the night. O’Neil and Barrett talk about The Shield. Foley says it’s the night he and O’Neil both wore lavender shirts, and also it’s the night Jack Swagger’s America began to crumble.

Extreme Rules Match
Randy Orton vs. Big Show

The Big Show is the first man to make his way out to the ring, and he doesn’t get much of a reaction out of the fans at all.

Randy Orton is out to the ring next, and he gets a much warmer reaction from the hometown crowd, that briefly drowns out Lillian Garcia.

The bell rings and Orton attacks right away, punching and kicking at Orton. Show tries to trap Orton in the corner, but Orton avoids it. Show drops Orton with a big shoulder block. Show head butts Orton and sends him out to the floor. Show follows, but Orton grabs a kendo stick out from under the ring and uses it to hit Show a couple of times. Show hits Orton with a big right hand and snaps the kendo stick in two. Show hits another head butt, then punches Orton in the gut. A third head butt from Show and Orton searches under the ring, grabbing another kendo stick. Show fights Orton off and breaks this stick as well.

Show catches Randy against the announcer’s table and hits him with a huge chop to the chest. Show shoulders Orton and runs toward the ring post, but Orton drops down and pushes Show into the post. Orton grabs a ladder from under the ring, but Show sends it crashing right back into Orton’s face with a kick. Show slams Orton’s head into the ring steps before bringing him back into the ring. Show sends Orton crashing shoulder first into the ring post. Show stands on the side of Orton’s head and presses down before focusing on Orton’s arms with a couple of big clubbing blows, and then an arm bar.

Show sends Orton into the corner and hits him with a back splash, but winds up catching a dropkick from Orton. Orton splashes Show in the corner and heads up to deliver a series of rights. Show grabs Orton across the throat and throws him down to the mat for a two count. Show rolls to the outside and grabs the ladder. Show goes under the ring for a couple of chairs. Show sets up the closed ladder between the two chairs near the corner of the ring. Show hits Orton with another big head butt when he tries to fight back, then a huge side slam. Show picks Orton up and places him on the ladder. Show heads up to the top rope and goes for the Vader bomb. Orton moves and Show comes crashing down on the ladder.

Orton goes for the pin, but Show kicks out at two. Show rolls out to the apron, and Orton gets him on the third rope for a huge suspension DDT. Orton drops to the mat and begins calling for the RKO. Show gets to his feet and Orton hits it, but it’s not enough to keep Show down for a three count. Show rolls to the outside, so Orton heads out too. Orton goes under the ring for another steel chair which he uses to crack Show across the back. Orton chases Show back into the ring with repeated chair shots, but Show retaliates with a giant spear.

Orton hits Show with a big kick to the chest before dropping him with an RKO on a chair. Orton is slow to get to his feet, and he’s got that look on his face when he does. Orton back up to the opposite corner and runs in with a huge punt. Orton pins show and gets the three count.

Winner: Randy Orton

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
John Cena © vs. Ryback

We get a video package that recaps Ryback’s recent obsession with breaking down John Cena.

Ryback is the first man to make his way out to the ring for this match, and he doesn’t really get much of a reaction from the fans in attendance.

Cena is out next, and he gets a mostly positive reaction from the fans on his way down.

The bell rings and Ryback stares a hole through Cena. We get a lock up and Ryback clamps on a headlock. Cena fights it off and eats a shoulderblock. Another lock up, and Cena clamps on a headlock, only to be pushed away and hit with another shoulderblock from Ryback. Lots and lots of ‘Goldberg’ chants. Ryback puts Cena in a headlock, gets pushed off and Cena comes up with a shoulderblock. Cane slams Ryback face first into the turnbuckle before hitting a bulldog. Ryback pops up and puts Cena right back down to the mat.

Cena backs Ryback into the corner with a series of rights, then catches him with a big boot. Cena leaps off the middle rope, but Ryback catches him and drops him down to the mat with a big slam. Ryback catches Cena with a couple of big rights before hitting him with a suplex. Cena gets back to his feet and Ryback quickly grabs him and presses him over his head before simply dropping him down to the mat.

Ryback doesn’t let the ref count as he grabs Cena and slams him down to the mat with a huge powerslam. The ref begins the count and gets up to 8 before Cena makes it to his feet. Ryback charges, but Cena catches him with a low bridge and Ryback falls to the outside. Cena heads under the ring and grabs a table, sliding it into the ring. Cena shoulders Ryback, but Ryback turns it around, shouldering Cena and dropping him into a backpack stunner. Ryback grabs the table and sets it up in the corner while the ref counts to 8.

Cena hits Ryback with a series of strikes, and a shoulder tackle, but a second tackle doesn’t go well as Ryback catches Cena. Ryback looks toward the table, and he hits a fall away slam, putting Cena through the table in the corner. Cena makes it back to his feet at 8. Cena avoids a splash in the corner and puts Ryback down with a belly to back suplex. Cena hits the five-knuckle shuffle and shoulders Ryback, but Ryback fights out and spears Cena.

Ryback tosses pieces of table out of the ring while Cena gets to his feet at an 8 count. Ryback tries for a powerbomb, but Cena slips through and hits a powerbomb of his own. Ryback makes it to his feet by 8, but he falls back to the mat. Ryback gets back up at 6. Cena tries for something, I can’t figure out what, but Ryback catches him and slams him down to the mat. Cena gets back to his feet, and Ryback immediately catches him with a huge clothesline.

Cena gets to his feet at 9 and ducks another clothesline, then locks in the STF on Ryback. Ryback doesn’t tap out, but he begins to fade and Cena rolls off of the challenger. The referee begins the count and Cena rolls out of the ring to grab another table from under the ring. Cena sets up the table and Ryback stands at 9. Ryback grabs Cena around the throat and throws him down to the mat. Ryback tries for shell shock, but Cena drops out of it and hits the AA through the table.

Cena makes it to his feet at 7, and Ryback stands at 9. Cena heads up to the top rope, but he’s stopped by Ryback. Ryback shoulders Cena and drops him to the mat with shell shock. Cena makes it up to his feet at 9, and Ryback immediately drops him with a punch to the back of the head. Ryback pulls Cena’s leg out around the ring post and grabs a chair. Cena kicks the chair into Ryback and heads to the outside, spearing Ryback through the barricade into the timekeeper’s area.

Both men get to their feet at 7. They begin fighting in the crowd, up near the production area. Ryback grabs part of the arena advertisements and uses it to smash Cena across the face. Cena gets up at 9 and locks Ryback in a sleeper hold. Ryback walks around with Cena on his back, but eventually begins fading and falls to a knee. Cena breaks the hold as soon as Ryback hits the floor. Ryback gets back to his feet at 8 and Cena hits him with a quick right hand. Ryback sprawls out on a table, and Cena heads up a level in the stands. Cena hits a cross body, putting himself and Ryback through the table.

Both men make it up to their feet, and Cena grabs a fire extinguisher, using it to blast Ryback in the face. Ryback runs from Cena, but Cena stalks him, hitting him with repeated blasts before hitting a continuous spray. Cena waits for Ryback to stand and uses the fire extinguisher to hit him in the head. Ryback stays on his feet, so Cena does it again.

Ryback still gets back to his feet, so Cena shoulders him. Ryback falls to his feet, and picks up Cena, sending him crashing through part of the set. It sparks and the ref loses sight of both men.

Both men are shown laid out backstage and refs are calling for paramedics. Neither Cena nor Ryback are moving, so it looks like this one is going to end up thrown out. The crowd sees this and beings booing immediately. Ryback gets to his feet and walks off while Cena is put into a neck brace and placed on a stretcher. Just to give this feud an excuse to continue for another month. Cena is loaded onto a backboard, then a stretcher while Teddy Long cries that they need to get Cena to a hospital. They show doctors checking out Cena before he’s wheeled away.

After a couple of replays of the event I think it’s safe to call this one.

Winner: No Contest

After a brief update to let us know that Cena and Ryback are being checked out by officials, the cage begins to lower for the final match of the evening. We get a video package of the events between these two men since WrestleMania that led into this match.

Steel Cage Match
Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman

Brock Lesnar is the first man to make his way to the cage with Paul Heyman in tow. Lesnar’s caught from behind by Hunter who tosses him into the cage, and then the barricade. Hunter hits Heyman with a right hand before throwing Lesnar into the cage and wiping him out with a big clothesline.

Hunter hits Lesnar with a couple of right hands before sending him crashing head first into the cage wall. Hunter sends Lesnar into the wall again before sending him crashing down to the mat. Hunter teases the pedigree, but Lesnar counters by back dropping Hunter into the cage. Lesnar walks toward Hunter, but he’s caught with a right hand. He responds with a big right of his own before slamming Hunter’s head back into the cage repeatedly. Lesnar stomps on Hunter’s head, then takes him across the ring, throwing him into the opposite cage wall.

Lesnar picks Hunter up and takes him across the ring again, throwing him into the cage wall hard. Lesnar shoulders Hunter, but Hunter is able to drop down and shove Lesnar into the cage wall. Hunter hits a couple of rights, and a big running knee on Lesnar. Hunter runs in for a big right hand, but Lesnar ducks it and connects with a huge German suplex, sending Hunter flying across the ring. Lesnar gets back to his feet and shoulders Hunter again, slamming him into the cage wall.

Lesnar stomps at Hunter, then traps him against the ropes. Lesnar leaps up with a flying knee, but Hunter moves and Lesnar crashes into the cage wall. Hunter goes to the top rope, but Lesnard stops him, shoulders him and hits a running powerslam. Brock rolls off and screams about his ‘knee bone’.

Lesnar limps over to Hunter, so Hunter punches and kicks at Lesnar’s knee before hitting him with a face buster across the knee. Hunter tries for the pedigree, but Lesnar counters with the kimura. Hunter drops to his knees and begins pounding at Lesnar’s hurt knee, forcing him to break the hold. Lesnar hits a huge clothesline and begins crawling for the door. Hunter stops Lesnar with a chop block to the back of the knee. Hunter crawls for the door, but Heyman shoves the door into Hunter’s face. Lesnar shoulders Hunter and hits the F5, but it’s only good for two.

Heyman grabs a chair, and he slides it into the cage to Lesnar. Lesnar uses it to hit Hunter in the side and back. Hunter gets to his hands and knees, and Brock blasts him with the chair. Lesnar tells Heyman that his knee is bad. Lesnar tries for the F5 again, but his knee buckles and he drops to the mat. Hunter hits another chop block and Brock drops to the mat screaming.

Hunter grabs the chair and uses it to hit Lesnar across the back, then the back of the leg before driving it down across Lesnar’s knee. Hunter slams Lesnar’s face into the turnbuckle, but Brock locks in the kimura. Hunter slams Lesnar into the corner and goes for the leg again, trapping it on the middle rope and dropping a knee across the back of Lesnar’s knee. Hunter catches Lesnar in the figure four and Lesnar screams in pain.

Heyman screams for Brock not to tap out. Brock gets to the ropes and uses them to turn over. Hunter breaks the hold and rolls away. Brock gets to his feet first and begins climbing up in the corner. Brock climbs to the top of the cage, but Hunter throws a chair at his bad leg. Lesnar falls back to the top rope and Hunter heads up after him, slamming his head into the cage wall and letting him drop to the mat. Hunter smiles, and reaches up to find a hidden sledgehammer in the top of the cage. Lesnar stops Hunter from using it and grabs it himself. Hunter ducks a sledge hammer shot and Hunter locks in the sharpshooter.

Lesnar grabs the sledge hammer and Heyman forces his way into the cage. Hunter sees it and catches Heyman with the pedigree. Lesnar gets up and goes for a sledge hammer shot, but Hunter avoids it and hits the pedigree. Hunter goes for the pin, but Lesnar kicks out at two.

Hunter grabs the sledge hammer again and gets to his feet. Heyman hits Hunter with a low blow and Hunter drops to the mat. Lesnar says, ‘that’s my manager’ as he gets to his feet. Lesnar grabs the hammer and smiles. Lesnar uses the sledge hammer to hit Hunter in the side of the head and Hunter drops to the mat hard. Lesnar poses for the crowd and limps over to Hunter. Lesnar screams before picking Hunter up to his feet. Lesnar shoulders Hunter and drops him with a huge F5 that gets the three count.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

Lesnar puts Hunter’s sledge hammer in his hands on top of his body before he makes his way out of the ring. Medical staff is shown checking on Hunter as Brock makes his way to the back. Heyman raises Brock’s hand. This leads directly into the post show. This cuts off pretty shortly as it will be continued on a lot of social media.

Before the PPV ends, Hunter is shown getting up to his knees and refusing help from officials and trainers. Hunter gets out of the ring, and walks to the back with assistance.
WWE Smackdown Results – (5/17/13)
Results By: Adam Wacker

Welcome to this week’s Smackdown! The show begins of a teaser of what is to come tonight. After Dolph Ziggler’s concussion, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger will battle in an I Quit Match to determine the #1 Contender at Extreme Rules. Also, Randy Orton and Big Show will both be guests on Miz TV.

The Miz is in the ring, welcoming us to the show. Miz says his two guests are bitter rivals, who will go one-on-one at Extreme Rules. Miz first introduces Randy Orton. Randy makes his way to the ring. Then Big Show makes his way to the ring. Miz says they will have an Anything Goes match this Sunday. Both have had issues since Wrestlemania, making this one of the most anticipated matches. Miz reminds us that Big Show defeated Tensai last Smackdown, but was taken out with an RKO afterwards. Miz asks if this is a preview of what is to happen at Extreme Rules. Big Show says he would expect a weasel like Miz to make a statement like that. Show says the only reason he got him was because it was from behind. Show was attacked many times by Orton, but can do anything at Extreme Rules. Show says he doesn’t need weapons, when he has on his arm. Instead of an RKO at Extreme Rules, it will be a TKO. Orton says that was an entertaining story, but the ending is inaccurate. Orton says it takes place in his hometown, but won’t allow himself to be defeated in front of his friends and family. Orton says he made the mistake of trusting Show, but can be trusted when he says he will strike down the giant. If Show isn’t careful, he might not get back up. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter interrupt.

Colter says Extreme Rules will be memorable, but because of Swagger making Del Rio say he quits. Everyone will remember the night that Jack Swagger emerges the #1 Contender. Alberto Del Rio interrupts.

Alberto tells Colter to shut up. Del Rio says everyone is tired of hearing him talk, so he will make this clear. The only thing people will remember is Alberto Del Rio becoming the #1 Contender, as Ricardo announces it. Del Rio will make Swagger quit, and send Colter back to where he came from. Mark Henry interrupts.

Henry says the only thing that will be remembered will be Mark Henry setting records. Not only that, but Sheamus being thrown, dragged and beaten across the ring. Henry says everyone is gonna remember he is the strongest man in the world, because that is what he does. Sheamus interrupts.

Sheamus says to Mark, their match will be the most memorable. Especially when he leaves Henry’s bruised body in the ring. Sheamus says why wait, as he runs to the ring with a belt in hand. The heels are cleared out of the ring, as Sheamus, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio stand tall in the ring.

Dixie Carter Open To A TNA / WWE Crossover Show

Digital Spy has a new article online featuring quotes from Dixie Carter in which she puts over the importance of having WWE as a competitor and stated that she would be open to co-promoting a show together.

Below are some quotes from Dixie:

"I don’t think [the WWE] shares my belief in this, but I believe that competition is 100% positively essential."

"I think it's important for fans and for us. To have one company dominate, a) it's boring, and you are not being challenged enough. It's always better to have other options out there and I truly believe it makes both companies better."

When asked about the possibility of a crossover show featuring WWE and TNA talent, Dixie responded:

"I absolutely would do that. I'm not sure if they would do that, but I absolutely would."
